Really nothing special it's just another average place, not even the price, waiters are friendly, can't write to much about this place.

You can watch your food being made in an open kitchen while sitting at a high-topped table sipping a beverage. This restaurant was suggested by some colleagues for a business dinner and fit the bill quite nicely, as it was within walking distance of the hotel. The food was very good and the service attentive without being fussy.

Food was great, breakfast pancakes were to die for, buffet breakfast had everything you could ever want and lots of it, staff were helpful and made you feel welcome, can get busy if there are a lot of conferences on in the hotel.

The food was very good (I took the Cajun Penne), the service was very kind and effective (although a bit "pushy") and the price was more than reasonable. In overall, it was much better experience than I expected from a restaurant located in hotel.

Most places that I’ve had Steak Bombs would shred the steak (much like a Philly cheese steak) This sandwich was a medium rare (thought it was funny when the waiter asked how I like my steak) flank steak smothered in mushroom with all the other Italian... Price was a high...but you can expect that in most hotel restaurants. But the burgers were awesome and service was prompt and friendly.

The French toast for breakfast was extremely delicious. I had them for two days. My waistline hasn't been small for years (smile). The bacon and sausage was delicious also. I didn't have lunch or dinner there.

The Crowne Plaza is very close to O'Hare and hosts many conventions and the Chicago Fire Oven inside the hotel is NOT your typical hotel food. They offer a varied menu and over my 3 day stay, I sampled many menu items and every was really tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet is pretty typical but well worth the... More
