I stayed down the street and wanted a warm hearty place to eat. Cafe Zalute did not disappoint. I had too much Great bread, mussels, and wonderful pasta. Not to mention some nice wine. I return there every tie in Chicago

This place is by my office, so we go there all the time, sometimes as large group for birthdays. The food is always good. They call it Italian, but for lunch they have a wide selection--sandwiches, burgers, etc. The pizzas are a good value--they are in the Italian style. Entrees generally are about $10 or a bit less. The servers...

My boyfriend and I went there on a Saturday night with a LivingSocial 2 course meal with wine. The place was small, intimate and had a nice charm. We had the fried Ravioli with Vodka dip appetizer which was very good. We split the Chicken Francaise and the Eggplant Parmigiana and loved both. I'm glad I decided not to eat...

We have driven by hundreds of times and thought of it as more of a bar...were we wrong..It's a very good restaurant with a fine bar. Located near ample parking. Very nice menu selections at good prices. A wine selection that will please you when you see it. Our waitress could not have been more friendly and helpful...I'm sure we...

Ordered a pizza for 350 baht and got a pizza the size of a teacup plate which tasted like Parmesan. My friend had the veal which should melt in the mouth for 590 and it was bland. Waiters understandably were watching football on TV as NO other guest was here. I give this restaurant 3 months before closing up
Unless your stomach is the size of a 55-gal drum, don't order any salad or appetizers, and just go for the entree. That will be enough food for two people for three days. Haven't they heard of portion control?
We had a group dinner here for a business meeting. The food was outstanding! Definitely try this out if you are around O'Hare.
We did a group dinner here after a day of meetings and it was a great little place to eat well. We did a four course family style buffet, finishing off the night with tasty ice cream. I saw lots of folks at other tables walking out with doggie bags so it would appear their portions are large.
Entree included salad, bread, sides. Very reasonable, no hidden charges
August 21,2010 . We ordered double-cut pork chops.the gastly smell from this serving managed to upset everyone near our table as well as us.The hostess, waitress were great. My compliant would be that the night manager did not even check with us and or apoligize for any inconvenience that may have happened. they did not charge us for that part of our...
