We live in the area and have not visited in many years. We were disappointed. Everything is a bit tired including the workers. No one seemed friendly or happy. Upon entering the restaurant, we commented on there bring a musty odor. That odor was not present in the dining area. Menu items are not cheap here as you would expect... More

It's been 17 years since we last visited WFF and it certainly has not changed. The food is outstanding-who doesn't love fried chicken! It was fun to to take our adult daughters back to enjoy some family style cooking! And the service was outstanding!

Classic!! Delicious fried chicken with all the relishes. Corn fritters, kidney bean salad, cottage cheese and cole slaw are very good. Ask for chicken gravy for French fries. Service can be a little slow, but once the food arrives, it's all good. Always fun to checkout the games and museum. Bring some quarters.

The service and family atmosphere was outstanding. Very friendly and down to earth. The restaurant is very large and easily accommodated a busy Saturday night. We all had the family chicken dinner. The skin, batter was average in taste and the meat was somewhat dry. The corn fritters and beets were very good. Could have used vegetables as a side dish.... More

I wrote a review last week of my first ever trip here. The chicken was somewhat bland and dry. The corn fritters were very good. The rest was meh. So since we were going back through Romeoville and needed to eat, we thought we would give it one more chance. We had seen it last winter on Check, Please and... More

I have been going to WWF since I was a kid...I go every time I come to Chicago to visit family. My family is now 4th generation having dinner there and its still what I remember. My daughter is a picky eater and even she ate her dinner (the original dinner). Love to take leftovers home and its still good... More

Since its beginning in the early 1920s, White Fence Farm in southwest suburban Romeoville has advertised that it produces "The World's Greatest Chicken." Order a half-pound chicken dinner (four pieces) with kidney bean salad, cole slaw, cottage cheese, pickled beets, corn fritters and choice of French fries, mashed potatoes or baked potato with homemade gravy, all for $15, and you... I recently visited the Chicago area, after more than 25 years since my last trip there. One of my memories from the past involved White Fence Farm in Romeoville. When my friend and I visited, the place looked pretty much the same, both inside and out. We both purchased the traditional Chicken Dinner, that comes with family style sides and... More

I used to go here as a child for special occasions with my family and grandmother (40 years ago). I had no idea that it was still open until last time on my visit I saw the billboard along the freeway on my way to the airport. So that was the only request this trip - visit White Fence Farm... More

The food was not as good as $15 chicken should be, the chicken tenders were overcooked and tough. Used to come here when I was a child, I remember a fun family dining experience with great chocked, games, and a petting zoo. Now it seems run down, the games are broken, the bathroom smells, and the zoo no longer allows... More
