The entryway and parlor and filled with amazing, beautiful antiques. One whole wall of old clocks. Old player pianos, rocking chairs and buffets. You could spend days just looking around the parlor. Long tables everywhere to seat big groups. The place was crowded and very busy so the service was a little spotty. The food is served family-style on platters... More

Unique restaurant and excellent food, even the kids will enjoy all the old toys and items throughout this great place. A must to see and have dinner at if you are in the area.

I have not been to WFF for a while, but it is always the standard we hold any fried chicken too. As a matter of fact I have known people who have planned trips so they could hit WFF on the way where ever they were going. The kids zoo is always nice to see and I love the old... More

We live in the area and have not visited in many years. We were disappointed. Everything is a bit tired including the workers. No one seemed friendly or happy. Upon entering the restaurant, we commented on there bring a musty odor. That odor was not present in the dining area. Menu items are not cheap here as you would expect... More

It's been 17 years since we last visited WFF and it certainly has not changed. The food is outstanding-who doesn't love fried chicken! It was fun to to take our adult daughters back to enjoy some family style cooking! And the service was outstanding!

Classic!! Delicious fried chicken with all the relishes. Corn fritters, kidney bean salad, cottage cheese and cole slaw are very good. Ask for chicken gravy for French fries. Service can be a little slow, but once the food arrives, it's all good. Always fun to checkout the games and museum. Bring some quarters.

The service and family atmosphere was outstanding. Very friendly and down to earth. The restaurant is very large and easily accommodated a busy Saturday night. We all had the family chicken dinner. The skin, batter was average in taste and the meat was somewhat dry. The corn fritters and beets were very good. Could have used vegetables as a side dish.... More

I wrote a review last week of my first ever trip here. The chicken was somewhat bland and dry. The corn fritters were very good. The rest was meh. So since we were going back through Romeoville and needed to eat, we thought we would give it one more chance. We had seen it last winter on Check, Please and... More

I have been going to WWF since I was a kid...I go every time I come to Chicago to visit family. My family is now 4th generation having dinner there and its still what I remember. My daughter is a picky eater and even she ate her dinner (the original dinner). Love to take leftovers home and its still good... More

Since its beginning in the early 1920s, White Fence Farm in southwest suburban Romeoville has advertised that it produces "The World's Greatest Chicken." Order a half-pound chicken dinner (four pieces) with kidney bean salad, cole slaw, cottage cheese, pickled beets, corn fritters and choice of French fries, mashed potatoes or baked potato with homemade gravy, all for $15, and you...
