First place I was told to go when I moved here and always the first place visitors asked to go. Combination of solid food and fun atmosphere make it a must visit.

Order beefs and I constantly get a bread sandwich with very little beef and a few times I received beef sandwiches with tiny little beef pieces from the bottom of the pan. Their burgers have been getting burned and over cooked lately.

When in doubt, go to Portillo's. Great beef sandwiches, hot dogs and burgers. The chopped salad is excellent, chocolate cake is very good. Wine, and Schooners of beer are cold and cheap (but not a lot of variety).

Portillo's brings the art of dogs to the top of the chart. Their Polish and Brats are good too. They have legendary chocolate cake and amazing chopped salads. Excellent is every way

Portillo's is always good, and it's consistent throughout the chain. You know what you're going to get no matter what location you're at.

I'm from the Chicago area and live in Florida now. Whenever I go back home to visit one of the first places I go is to a Portillo's! Their Italian beef sandwich is the best!!! Get it with extra juice!!!

Can't beat Portillos for beef, sausage, hot dogs or even their ribs. They always serve good quality food at a fair price and the service is always excellent. Fast food set up but can dine in. This is what Chicago food is all about!!!! I love their beef so much that I order it online and have it shipped to me in Florida! Comes with all the fixin's and tastes just as good as if you bought it right there!
