Came by for dinner while on a business trip & sat at the bar. Very authentic & lots to choose from. I let them choose for me based on my typical preferences and I had some of the best Chinese food that I've ever tried. Be sure to try the dumplings as am appetizer - yum! Highly recommended!

There were 8 in our party for dinner on Friday night. You must make a reservation. The place was full and for good reason. The food was out standing. For many years, one of my favorite shrimp dishes is Walnut Shrimp. It is a difficult dish to make but there are many who do it well. Chef Ping, without question,... More

It's a busy restaurant and there is a reason why. The Asian food is amazing especially if you are into a little different flavor than typical Chinese. The Noodle Platter with seafood is unique. Sometimes that craving begins, and I have to go out of my way to satisfy it! Definitely the Mongolian Beef and Mu Shoo Pork type dishes... More

This is one of favorite places to eat! But a lesson that you learn quickly is to get it take out. The wait for a table is always too long. The orange chicken is one of favorites along with their pot stickers....we have never had a bad dish.

I have traveled China extensively along with my who is from China and have had the pleasure to enjoy countless restaurants across China. Although Chef Ping may have many dishes that are American Chinese restaurant favorites ( Never seen General Tso's Chicken in China ) I am just as happy to eat here as any Chinese restaurant. Ingredients used are... More

Used to go to the Yu's in Schaumburg, but now come here because the owner sold the Yu's and open this place (and this place is closer to our house). Very good food, the noodle dishes are excellent. My favorite is the Summer Salad (but it is not quite a dish for everyone since it got hot mustard in it).... More

They brought me the wrong order and she wouldn't take it back and left it on our table after I told her that's not what I ordered and charged me anyways. I talked to the owner and she said that the waitress is responsible so she said she was going to take care of it and never did. They are... More

Me and Co workers often visit and eat and enjoy great food. It gets pretty crowded after 12pm so you may wanna beat the rush. But the combination fried rice is great as well as the sesame chicken.

Really authentic Asian food. Then Gan Pong and Noodle dishes are the best, as are their Szechuan offerings. It's packed at lunch during the week. Portions are plentiful and service is speedy. If you go for lunch during the week, get there by 11:30.

Had a wonderful experience at Chef Pings. Came to know about this place from friends..it was difficult to get a reservation (they don't entertain reservation for groups less than 6)..when i reached this place i was pretty impressed..nice atmosphere and very courteous staff. We had Szechwan fish fillet, kung pal chicken (it came with bones..not sure if they had the... More
