We were in town for business and found this awesome restaurant. We loved it so much that we ate there twice in three days. We are vegan, and the waitress readily gave us options that were delicious. We will definitely go back when we were in the area. Love this place! Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere!

My wife and I dine at Chef Ping about once a month, driving 20+ miles each way. Although we have plenty of decent Chinese restaurants in Naperville area, none can match Chef Ping. For the past 15 years, we followed the owner from Yu's Mandarin to Chef Ping. There are two restaurants in Westmont and Naperville, operated by the kins... More

Went there once and they were closed. So disappointed. Second visit was much better. Food was good and the service was excellent. All family members enjoyed what they ordered which is unusual. I'd love to go back later. It was very crowded.

The extensive menu has something for everyone. I have never ordered a dish I didn't love. Families welcome.

This restaurant serves a unique cuisine, the food of the Chinese from Korea, a culture that dates back many generations. When we take Chinese people here, some the menu they know, other they have only heard of. The owner is a chef, and hires only the best cooks, and the popularity ensures very fresh ingredients. The menu is Szechwan inspired... More

Came by for dinner while on a business trip & sat at the bar. Very authentic & lots to choose from. I let them choose for me based on my typical preferences and I had some of the best Chinese food that I've ever tried. Be sure to try the dumplings as am appetizer - yum! Highly recommended!

There were 8 in our party for dinner on Friday night. You must make a reservation. The place was full and for good reason. The food was out standing. For many years, one of my favorite shrimp dishes is Walnut Shrimp. It is a difficult dish to make but there are many who do it well. Chef Ping, without question,... More

It's a busy restaurant and there is a reason why. The Asian food is amazing especially if you are into a little different flavor than typical Chinese. The Noodle Platter with seafood is unique. Sometimes that craving begins, and I have to go out of my way to satisfy it! Definitely the Mongolian Beef and Mu Shoo Pork type dishes... More

This is one of favorite places to eat! But a lesson that you learn quickly is to get it take out. The wait for a table is always too long. The orange chicken is one of favorites along with their pot stickers....we have never had a bad dish.

I have traveled China extensively along with my who is from China and have had the pleasure to enjoy countless restaurants across China. Although Chef Ping may have many dishes that are American Chinese restaurant favorites ( Never seen General Tso's Chicken in China ) I am just as happy to eat here as any Chinese restaurant. Ingredients used are... More
