The food and service were good. A few more options on the menu would be nice. A few more chicken dishes.

I've eaten here a couple of times on my visits to Rockford. The food here is ok. Steer towards the pork chops as they are good. Steaks are thin and they have a hard time hitting a true medium rare. Mac and cheese is worth ordering with any meal and I recommend adding this as a substitute. What really brings... More

I went to Garrett's upon recommendation of the Hampton Inn hotel Manager. This is a nice non chain restaurant that I probably would have not given a glance if just driving by. I had the salmon with roasted brussel sprouts that was great. The homemade chicken noodle was among the best I have eaten. Great service and reasonably priced. Garrett's... More

We came here on recommendation of a local who is a friend. It was a good choice. We started with the homemade chips and salsa. It was very good and a large enough serving to share. I opted for the grilled peach and chicken salad which was just as delicious as it sounds. My husband had a burger which he... More

This would be a superb night out if this restaurant weren't run by a bunch of 'kids". The highly touted Friday fish fry was out, with no explanation from the waitress. The appetizer 'pretzels with beer cheese' was an obvious microwaved product, over priced and not edible. Good place for a beer, that's all I can recommend.

Very was great and so was the service. We had the sweet potato fries for an appetizer, lobster bisque & one person had the salmon and the two other had the veggie lasagna special. All was quite tasty and the service was wonderful! Sat outside and really enjoyed ourselves.

It is always fun to visit Garrett's. We like to grab some drinks and appetizers and make our way out to the golf shooting range when we go. They always seem to have clubs you can borrow too! The food is hit or miss. The service is decent, sometimes can be extremely slow.

In town on business so I thought I would try this place out. After sitting down at the bar and waiting for over 15 mins for a bartender to even show up, I gave up on waiting and walked out. I guess they don't need my business. I have been told the food is good but due to the lack... More

Went with friends and enjoyed the bar area very much but I thought the table area could have been a lot nicer ( table cloths atmosphere ) for the cost of food. They were very busy and I think they didn't have enough staff for the amount of people. Our waitress was very nice but she did forget many things... More

Where should I start? Went here for dinner with 5 other people after work. Ordered the soup of the day. It came our room temperature. Sent it back, came back out room temperature. Meals came out before anyone removed the first course, hummm, where to put the food... Someone asked for bread, out came 2 rolls for six people (anyone... More
