5 star beer list meets 4 star service in plus 3 star food

Not Greek despite the name. A really great looking bar and a fantastic outdoor eating environment however the regular dining room is a bit drab and they also have put tables in some depressing alcoves. I've been many times and am very happy with the beer selection, and by sticking to the old... read more

Great menu, good food, wonderful outside patio for warm summer nights. Inside is noisy but very comfortable. Awesome Friday fish fry. Prices are a little high but probably worth it.

We go there ofter with friends. They have different beers on tap & offer samples. The menu has a lot of their own creations that are interesting. There is outside seating weather permitting with heaters. The inside seating can handle parties of 10-12. The staff is friendly and not a lot of turnover so you may see the same smiles.

This restaurant has been around for a long time. I've been here on and off for a long time as well. Today my husband and I decided to have lunch on the patio and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant time. The patio is fenced in and very pretty. There are lots of options as to seating and... This is an inviting restaurant. We had a wonderful server,Terry. She offered suggestions and took great care of us. Their menu is varied. There is something for everyone's palate. My husband ordered the mile high burger. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the blue cheese and tenderloin pizza.. OMG! It was fantastic. We took a tiramisu to go.... More

I had a wonderful pull pork sandwich and also shared some brochette with the table. Both were great. Great beer menu they must have 100 beers. However, my husband is a wine lover and the wine menu left lots to be desired. I was surprised as they had a very nicely stocked bar.

If you're tired of the chains with their small portions and over priced drinks, you'll love this place. Great atmosphere, food, and reasonably price drinks- especially the beers on tap. Great value for your dollar.

The Olympic Tavern has been a Rockford Standard for many years. Providing good food reasonable prices. The Tavern Tacos with chicken were awesome, along with chips and salsa. I took my daughter and husband there for dinner and it was their first time there and they loved it. Kayla, our server, was very attentive and very courteous and very helpful... More

The Olympic cares about beer. A lot. It shows in everything they do, from the proper glassware to the knowledgeable bartenders and servers, to the perfect pours at proper temperatures. I enjoyed the food, but if you are a beer nerd, this place should be at the top of your to-do list in Rockford.
