I went here on a recommendation - wow. Everything was the best I've had. I had a pizza puff (delicious), and the fries were better than anywhere, and they give you a TON. I could barely finish it. The only thing I don't like is where it is. It's on an odd, hard-to-exit intersection in downtown Rockford. I wouldn't go... more

This is one of the best Italian beefs I've ever had, including from when I lived in Chicago. The bread they use is so good. Interesting atmosphere. It's been around forever. I think it was a gas station a long, long time ago. One of the best places for grub in The Rock. more

uncle nicks overall has pretty decent food for a decent price, i havent lived in rockford for 5 years now but when i moved they had 2 locations, the original downtown and a new place on east state. the new place is nice and has sit down seating inside, but the original place has the best food, it looks dumpy... more
