Undecided

Tried here one time with a big group of family. Maybe we threw them off their game, it was by no means bad just not memorable. Atmosphere was nice, multiple rooms to sit. I would need to find a good reason to come back considering all the options in Rockford.

While I've never been impressed with this place for several reasons, there is always 1 worth going back for. I find the atmosphere to be loud, service is barely mediocre, most of the food is plain (and they do not de-stem salad greens, which bothers me), nobody makes better onion shreds! I love JJ's original sauce (from the good days... More

Menu is really best suited to a lunch fare, not many steaks or dinner type entrees. Menu consists mainly of sandwiches, sides and appetizers. Food is good, menu is long- many options. Service is hit or miss. I've had some good servers and a few that seem to become invisible after you order and your drink is empty.

As college students, my best friends and I always plan a dinner out before we all go back. Tonight our visit went above and beyond. Upon arriving to Stone Eagle, the owner had a table reserved for us while I was waiting for my friends to show up. When we sat down, he brought a few dishes out for us... More

We split a 34oz bone in ribeye and it was the best steak I've ever had!!!! We always had the large shovel of shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp was fresh and delicious!!! The owner was very involved walked around the restaurant speaking with the guests. He gave us an extra shovel of shrimp for coming in. Our waitress Kristin... More

We had two great experiences here in a row. The first time, the Manager (forgot her name , but she has dark hair that's cut & styled in an adorable asymmetrical haircut -- and she was on duty when we visited again in the late afternoon , Aug 8) made sure we wanted to come back after visiting here in... My family and I stopped here while staying in Rockford. It was not far from the hotel. We were drawn to the establishment not only by the outward appearance which looked quite intriguing but by the fact that it was a local establishment and not a chain. The decor was quite unique. There were collectibles on display throughout the place.... More

I'll make this short and sweet. This place is supposed to be a Rockford diamond in the rough. It was bad the two times we ate in Hoffman Estates and even worse here in the main store. Obviously, people who come here regularly are used to mediocrity. Wife had insipid Chicken scallopini.....my shrimp platter was a joke.....Market Day frozen shrimp... More

My husband and I took our best friends out for dinner and wanted to go somewhere nice. We have been to Stone Eagle one other time for lunch, and it was nice, so we chose it as they had never been there. We were seated immediately, which was a surprise as it was a Friday night, but that was the... More
