I came here in March for a going away party for a friend. We had a large group, so we had to call ahead. They told us we couldn't make reservations more than 2 hours ahead of time, which was a bit frustrating. Called when we were told to, arrived on time, and our table was not ready. Other than... More

I have one by our house and never wanted to wait. So visiting Rockford I said let's try it. The place was PACKED. If you don't call ahead (they have call ahead seating option) expect to wait a long time (especially on a Friday or Saturday night). I loved the peanuts in the waiting room and at the table. Our... We stopped here on our way back home from Wisconsin Dells. We have eaten at other Texas Roadhouse restaurants. The service was very good. We all enjoyed our food. All together we had fried dill pickles, boneless wings, 1/2 lb burger and fries, and pulled BBQ pork dinner with corn and mashed potatoes. We would definitely stop again!

We were In Rockford for one night and we were staying at the Red Roof Inn, about a ½ mile away. A Thursday evening and they were not overly busy. Great food presentation as you enter. We were seated immediately in a nice clean booth. Bucket of peanuts on the table. Our server, Michael, was friendly and served us promptly.... More

Food is great. This place is fun. Not much else to say. The only place in town that still leaves you a basket of peanuts at the table.

First time to this "chain" steak house. Was not impressed. Noisy & dirty. The food was just ok. My steak was salty and overcooked. I was hoping for better. Next time, I will go to a real steak house and get a better meal for the same price.

The customer service here is excellent. The waiters and waitresses do a good job to make you feel welcome. The food that they serve is very tasty. The steaks are melt in your mouth good and that includes well done. The food comes to the table fresh and hot. When you first arrive they give out a loaf of bread... More

Pulled into Rockford late in the evening, saw Texas Roadhouse and decided to stop as we were hungry from driving all day long. Glad we did! good service, good food and a good price. Too bad we do not have one here at home in Oregon! If we did I would go there all the time!

Even though it was close to closing time I was served well. The food was as I ordered and I enjoyed it.

A little quieter than the Texas Roadhouse we have at home. Sat at the bar. Service was efficient and pleasant. The ribs were a little burned, but the meat was tender and the BBQ sauce covered it well. I had the sweet potato wtih butter and brown sugar. Yumm!! Very nice. Overall a good experience for the chain. It was... More
