Yummy breakfast

We've been to Aunt Mary's for breakfast a couple of times after recommendations from friends. During both visits we've been very pleased. The food is very much your "diner" fare, but it tastes great. Between my husband and I, we've had the biscuits and gravy, waffle, and one of the skillets. All... read more

Can't ever say anything negative about this place! I like the Riverside location best. While the menu is big and variety can be overwhelming and hard to decide on - everything is so delicious. You can't go wrong with pastries, breads, sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps - everything is right. They make the best French onion soup - it is worth... More

We like to stay away from the chains when traveling so I looked on google for a cafe for breakfast. Aunt Mary's showed up with a few positve referrals. We had a great breakfast! Cool and unusual food that we did not expect. The outside looks like a normal chain-like hotel but the food was amazing. Neither my wife or... More

I went here for breakfast with my Grandma about 5 months ago, It was pricey for the standard breakfast of eggs, toast and bacon. The service was ok, coffee cups were dirty and the whole resturant was dirty. Bathrooms were gross and need to be painted, renovated and cleaned as well as the whole resturant. I remember coming here when... More

Been in from Chicago 2-3 times and their meals are great but the soup are superb. The Sweet Potato and Tomato is a must have. New England Clam Chowder also delicious. See you again when back in town.

I love this eatery. Close to home. Great menu offerings. Kinda like an upscale diner. Always great service. I had a wonderful ghilled tuna sandwhich and fresh fruit salad. Breakfasts are always excellent. They have two eateries one is the main diner and the other a smaller cafe. I love both. Clean, bright and inviting.

Stopped for lunch one day and found it to be very friendly staff and reasonable prices. Servings were more than adequate and ended up taking some of it back to my hotel for a later meal. The place was clean and felt very welcomed. Would definitely go back and try their breakfast sometime.

We try to eat at local restaurants, not the chains when visiting a new city. So, we tried Aunt Mary's since it's been in Rockford for "ages." The staff was very friendly and quick which is a big plus! The food was priced reasonably and was Okey Dokey, not extraordinary, fine.

We stayed at the Alpine Inn. The second morning we decided to eat a full breakfast and noticed Aunt Mary's right across the street. It was an EASY run across the road. The menu was good. The service was fast and the cost was not too pricey.

Across the street from our motel. Service was very good and the food was above average. It was not very crowded for a Saturday at 6PM which was a concern, but once we got our food we were glad we came.
