Server was always referring to us as Her Girls or My Friends. Honey and deary were used way too often. We are proud older women with professions and those comments are just too annoying. The server interrupted our conversations way too often. That said the food was excellent and will return.

My husband and I ate here during our travels around the Great Lakes. On our last day of a wonderful vacation, we decided to treat ourselves to a fine Italian dinner. We ordered the veal piccata and salmon. The salmon was prepared perfectly, as was the veal, very moist and fresh tasting. The dining room was decorated beautifully, our waitress... More

Here in town for soccer and I have been having bad luck with food all week---until tonight. Just a wonderful experience. The food was wonderful and the service amazing. Don't deprive yourself. Just go!

My husband and I decided to give it a try. Since we got in until we left we were not dissapointed. The restaurant is well appointed decorated, looks like a boutique restaurant, very charming. Our server was extremely nice, genuine and very attentive. My sangria was delicious. We ordered for appetizer Bruschetta alla Toscana, Arugula salad and for pasta Conchiglie... More

This little restaurant might be smaller in size but packs a huge pinch in flavor. The wine list is amazing, service is excellent, and the dining room is very pretty. The food has amazing flavored, great presentation and is one of the best spaghetti and meatballs that I have ever had. You will not be disappointed with the food or... More

I found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and invited six people who did not know one another for a pasta feed prior to the Biggest Loser Race in Rockford. We were welcomed at the door by whom we later learned was the owner. Our server was positive and professional. We were given plenty of time to chat and laugh and... More

The staff is friendly, the food is good, nice menu choices, soups, pasta, fish and steaks, locally owned, a nice surprise in a smaller restaurant!

Stopped here for another business meeting after talking my colleagues out of going to Garret's (terrible!). I told them they would not be disappointed and to make sure they order the house salad with the sausage. Once again, we had an amazing meal with fantastic service. Vito came by specifically to tell us if we wanted to order off menu,... More

Was delicious! The only one thing that wasn't right (calamari too salty) they immediately fixed it by taking it off the bill. The food was good, the wine smooth and the staff was friendly. We would recommend Vito's.

Myself and three of my cousins, including one visiting from California, when to Vito's for a family dinner. I had driven past it several times and wanted to dine there. So when looking for a spot for this dinner I decided that this was the place. We were delighted with our experience! Chef Vito greeted us at the door and... More
