Delicious daily specials

My husband and I stopped in on a Tuesday evening at about 7 p.m. The restaurant was not very busy, but was clean and inviting. We were greeted promptly and seated. Found this gem while searching for a local restaurant near my hotel. I had no problem getting a table, as I was dining alone. It is bigger than it looks from the outside. They have a beautiful bar with a great wine and spirit selection. I found the service to be top notch, even though my waitress had a large... More

I was expecting quite a lot better than the stodge I was served up here a few weeks ago. I went in based upon the good reviews and maybe my choice of plate was not the chef's specialty. If that's the case , then don't do as I did and order the salmon with whole wheat pasta. It looked (and... More

Had family visiting from out of town so I referenced trip advisor to look for a nice restaurant I had not been to, found rave reviews for Vito's and had to give it a try. Vito's most certainly did not disappoint! We had everything from seafood, pasta, to steak, everything was delicious and substantial portions so go hungry! This will... More

Traveling through on business and looking for something nicer than fast food for lunch. Found this place on Trip Advisor and was glad I gave it a try. The decor is nothing too special (very comfortable) and the service was great! They make you feel like family with easygoing and very pleasant service. The food was very good, I had... More

Stopped in at Vito's for dinner with my mom. What a surprising experience we had dinning there that night. The place is small and quaint, but the food is huge with appeal and flavor. Very authentic Italian cuisine. There were no leftovers that night. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming, not overbearing and overdone like some of the other... More

My sister, brother in law and I had a top notch dinner. The food and service was by far, the best I have ever had. Adam makes a tasty Southern comfort old fashion sweet, Chef Vito takes the time to stop by your table, which is rarely done anymore. All the staff made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed... We found this via TripAdvisor and Open Table recommendations. Service was excellent; not too obtrusive, but very friendly. Vito (Owner/Chef) came out to ask patrons about their meals and service; nice touch. Our salads and entrees were excellent. My wife had a shell pasta with an incredible sauce. My salsiccia was outstanding, featuring homemade sausage. Our only regret is that... More

I visited Vito's on a business luncheon. It's a lovely, charming little place. During our lunch, it did get a little loud, but it was quite busy, too. It was about average priced for lunch, but the dinner menu does look a little pricey. Our server was great. She was helpful, quick, and pleasant. We received our food surprisingly quickly,... More

I live in Kansas City, MO. There was allot of fraud on my card out of Rockford. I have never been to Rockford. The Fraud occurred at Gas Stations and Taco Bell. While researching fraud in Rockford this page was the first to come up. Just wanted to note this for Vito's Restaurant. While it is possible someone within restaurant... More
