Our family eats at Bahia every time my in-laws come to visit. They are very accommodating (the in-laws are a bit eccentric) so the service is always excellent. The food is great as well, especially the seafood dishes. Very affordable too!

The food was just, not very good, and either it had no flavor or taste or it was too spicy and that was all you got. Tamales tasted gross along with the enchilada, rice and beans were okay. Quiet place but not very clean or friendly staff, had flies and small bugs flying around.. wouldn't eat at this place again..

Pretty generic food. Rice and beans tasted like they were prepackaged store bought items! Enchilada was good but nothing to write home about! Green salsa was probably my favorite it had great flavor! If it was only choice in town I would go back but otherwise I think I'll pass for another fresher option!

Bahia Restaurant is located inside of a mall on the northeast corner of E. State and Mulford. They used to be located on Broadway but the new location is much nicer and there is a large parking lot. Enter the mall and go down a few steps and you will see the Bahia. They specialize in seafood but have all... More

General location is convenient but it's place inside an old, mostly abandoned strip mall is not enticing. Service is okay, food is okay, price is average. Nothing special in this reviewers opinion.

Had the margarita's at the old location and there was no tequilla in them and when I called the bartender out on it he actually smirked at me so he knew he tried to pull something. That being said gave the new location a chance. Premixed neon green again but when I complained, they put some tequila in just like... More

Great Authentic Mexican food. I am glad they moved from Broadway. Now they are right a round the corner.

Great food -- nice atmosphere. I love this place! Best Mexican food in Rockford. They have a great menu, with lots of options (including an excellent variety of seafood choices).

We ate at this restaurant on 7/28/12 after hearing oodles of commercials for it on the radio. It was terrible. We ordered the seafood platter for 2 - which cost approximately $56 and was NOT worth even half of that. The food was overcooked - the seafood was like chewing on rubber. The fish tasted like dirt. There were 2... More

I went with my wife and kids to this local restaurant in it's new location. Salsa was good and fresh. Ordered the seafood chimichanga and it was delicious. My wife ordered a trio of a tamale and 2 enchiladas and you can tell it is all homemade food. But the topper was the fried ice cream. Make sure you save... More
