Location by Perryville/State Street over by Jimmy Johns/Five Guys. We enjoyed our experience here although service was a bit forgetful about a few things and had a few quirks. They have tables and booths and if you get a thai booth you can take your shoes off and get cushioned seats. Hubby got the Thai beer and didn't care for... More

I went to the Thai Hut with a colleague for dinner last night. This was my first visit and i always use pad thai as my gauge. I had 4 pepper chicken pad thai and is was very good. If you like spicy food, go hotter. I never know how hot the ratings are so i was conservative. This pepper... More

This place takes me back to my travels in Thailand so I am in love! Many people would say the decor is less than amazing and I would agree from the perspective of main stream American standards. It's simple, quiet and clean. That's good enough for me. No one picks a restaurant for the decor anyway. It's the food that... More

Every so often when you least expect it, a good restaurant is found. Thai Hut is located in a newer strip mall just off Perryville Road, south of State Street. Clean, fairly well lit, and reasonably priced. Lunch specials are inexpensive and portioned well. The Pad Thai noodles and Panang Curry are my 2 favorites. Soup is included with lunch... More

Very authentic and affordable. Our server was great and the sandy hollow location was clean and well kept up. I had the pad thai and it was mild at heat level three, I would go at least 4 next time. We also had the app sampler and everything was super crispy and hot. Great fried rice too. We will be... More

My wife loves their green curry so we frequent Thai Hut from time to time. The portions aren't too generous but enough for a snack the next day. We like how you can make the dishes as spicy or mild as you want with their 5 pepper system. We go with the 3 pepper and it is enough to satisfy... More

My 11 year old daughter and I went here while on an overnight vacation in Rockford, IL. The staff was so very friendly and attentive- it really made the experience for me. My daughter was happy that they let us move to a low Asian style table with cushioned lounge chairs. The food was not the best Thai food I've... More

For the experienced Thai eaters, this place was "spot on". Tried multiple different dishes and never had a bad one. If you are looking for good Thai food, this is the place.

Really delicious food. The service is friendly and quick. The prices are very reasonable. Try the Thai iced tea. It's the perfect counterpoint to the spiciness of the food. The potstickers were crunchy and perfectly cooked; with wonderfully piquant sauce.
