Food great. Service lousy!

Was excited to try this place as it sounded interesting with the decor and menu. Didn't care for juggling around the large garbage bins on the exterior after we parked. Maybe we didn't find the front entrance? Decor was eclectic and different. We stopped for lunch around 12:30 on a Saturday... read more

A trip to Mama Compton's is a must do if you're in the area. It's a family owned and operated establishment with an interesting decor and wonderful staff. Psyndi is great and the food is prepared for you as if you were a member of her family. The burgers on the menu are the best and will not disappoint.

A very good restaurant. Looks small on the outside, but quite large on the inside. If you want to get the warm home feel and get a meal "home cooked" and "just like sitting at the dinner table at home", this is it. Nothing extravagant, nothing amazing, just hearty, tasty, and good food. I went on a Monday and had the... More

This is a cute restaurant with very good wraps, soups and salads, and great desserts. There are often community events, such as Gallery Hop artists, and massages.

A nice atmosphere and a friendly welcome. Our table top had been wiped, but not dried. This was addressed quickly. Mama's offers a nice menu of standards and novelty sandwiches, plus soups both hot or cold. My rueben was super, even if my request to put the mustard on the side was ignored by the kitchen. It was meaty and... More

Great little find for breakfast. Large window overlooking the river, very friendly service and great prices. Will be back next time we are in the area.

I had the "Slap yo mama" wrap... It was a good wrap but a little pricey for what I got. $10 for a wrap and a handful of chips... At the end if the day I would eat here again

We came in search of breakfast and found it. A warm welcome in this family run place. A good and inexpensive breakfast menu. Gentle jazz playing. Loads of great things to look at. The food is good. Go here and enjoy!

$10. for an egg salad sandwich and cup of soup. Granted the soup was delicious (Chicken pot pie), the egg salad sandwich left much to be desired. Did not taste like mayo even though they insisted it was. I also had their "Stupid sandwich", which was decent, but not spectacular, the Spaghetti, which was fair to poor, and the fried... More
