No thrills just the best hot dogs anywhere. If you go here, all you can get is hot dogs, fries, hot tamales and pop. That is it but you don't need anything else. They still wrap your dog with fries piled on top of the dog in paper and then dropped it in a brown paper bag, Chicago style. When... More

My wife and I can here for what some have called the Best Hot Dog in America. I'm not qualified to say that that statement is true, but I have no evidence that it isn't. The dogs were great. The fries were great, too. Worth the wait. There's nothing fancy here. It's dogs or tamales. Nothing else. Eat in your... More

don't let the long line deter you. It moves really fast. The food is so good here you have to come at least once a week. You sit in your car and eat and relax.

Been going there for 30+ years. Still great dogs and fries to die for. Staff friendly and always good hearted no matter how long the line is. Keep going guys.

This place has the best french fries. I am a non-meat eater and this is still worth the stop with handy mustard and an old school orange drink on the side. They have their own dedicated farm that delivers the potatoes and cut them by hand...

I love this place, I don't get to go often as its over an hour and a half away but my baseball team has practices sometime in rosemont. There is a line at time but the wait isn't extremely long the employees know what there doing its a normal chicago dog, there french flies are cut fresh from the potatoes... More

First, there is no seating, no "customer service," and NO ketchup. The food is greasy and absolutely delicious. Hotdogs that snap, fresh-cut fries, awesome tamales. Not easy to find, but once you do, it will be memorable. Don't expect a fuzzy, warm atmosphere. Rather, think "kiss my grits" but northern-style. I'm craving a gene & Jude dog right now.... One... You have not lived until you have eaten a Gene & Jude's Hotdog. In the neighborhood for years and you can alway bank on a hot hot dog and a line the wraps around atleast once. Definitely fast moving so it is always worth the wait. Even though we have moved, worth the road trip back down memory lane. No... More

There is no better dog anywhere! Add the fries- pure heaven. We live in CT, but find excuses to get to Chicago a couple times a year just to go here. It is the best of the best.

Ok, so there is no place to sit. But that's fine. We sat in our car (like most people do). At 2PM on a Wednesday, there was a line that wrapped around the inside of the place, but by no means did we wait a long time to get our food. They are very efficient at running that line and... More
