Don't bother going to Jorge the Crook's they have been out of business for several months. The restaurant that replaced them is Boodalu, which is shown in a separate review and get 4 stars in my book.

Though Jorge the Crook's closed four months ago, TripAdvisor still hasn't taken down their listing. The building has been rehabbed, and BoodaLu Steakhouse opened in this location June 26. The mantra is "Classic is back" and the focus is on steaks and seafood. Hope to get to try it soon.

Alas the news reports that Jorge the Crooks has closed. The building sold in December, and the restaurant did not renew its lease in March. The new building owners have purchased all the restaurant equipment and plan on opening a fine steak, chop and seafood restaurant and bar at the site, hopefully by midsummer. My wife and I had many... More

We've lived in Quincy for a year and a half, but this was our first experience at Jorge the Crook's (dinner out with another couple). We had heard that this was a very up-scale place with a pricy menu. What we found was a wonderful atmosphere - great for a romantic evening or dinner with close friends. The menu has... More

We ate there for a special occasion and found it too be good. Rather pricey so this is a place you go once in a while. Nice setting and pretty good service

Dinner near the riverfront provides a great atmosphere. Jorge the Crook is a consistently great value. Dan and his folks ensure your meal is worth the trip.

The food there has tanked. The chef is a bad fit for the place, she salts the food to mimic ocean water, soups are thick and gloppy, vegetables overcooked. Its a problem when you have a brow chef in a high end place.

A well rounded menu at good prices. Wine specials are well worth it. On good night try outside table overlooking the river

Located right off the mississpi river with a beautiful view at sunset; the menu is limited, but all the items that we tried were prepared with the highest quality. Voodoo scallops to start, Wedge salad with crispy bacon, gorgonzola filet (which was cooked perfectly), and the housemade cheesecake for dessert. The server offered suggestions for wine and everything paired perfectly.... More
