I stopped here with my two aunts and uncle for dinner. I was hopeful that I would be able to get a good steak for my dinner. Boy was I wrong. the steak was so small I just couldn't believe that they were actually passing it off as a steak. Looked like it had been hiding in their freezer for... More

This is a good place for breakfast but skip the other meals. Everything tastes the same. Service was pretty good.

We ate breakfast there twice both times meet our expectations and more! First morning omelets. They were huge and so yummy. Coffee is so good too. The next day country fried steak and eggs. Man the portions are generous and so good to the last bite. Dont miss this resturants if your in town.

We were looking for some good breakfast food. The tall "Route 66" sign caught our eye, so we wheeled into the spacious parking lot. We were excited to see the CHICAGO ----> L.A. Rt 66 map spanning the wall, as we entered. WE settled into the comfort of a '50's & 60's booth. Our waitress was immediate to get us... More

Returning from one of our many road trips to southern Illinois to visit family, we decided to look for some place different than our usual fast food places and have a nice wholesome lunch. After checking Trip Advisor, we ended up here and very glad we did. A vast menu of yummy-sounding food and daily specials provide any number of... More

The menu has such a great variety. The portions are large. We all ordered a beef roll, chicken roll, chicken strips, and strawberry crepes. The service was good. It's a nice restaurant and we will be back!

We eat here frequently because the staff and the service are excellent as well as the food. You get plenty to eat with each selection. They have daily specials and their soups are out of this world. They also have a banquet room for special occasions and have buffets for special holidays. The buffet runs like clockwork.

We knew we weren't walking into a Michelin-rated restaurant here, but that's not what we were looking for. My brother and sisters, a few cousins and our husbands and wives had gathered in Anchor for a family funeral service, and a stop here was the perfect ending to the day. We all grew up about 20 minutes west of here... More

While on a bus trip, we stopped here for a quick brunch. The staff was very friendly and attentive while the food was good and service was fast. I spoke with the locals and they highly recommend this for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stop here again when in the area.

I was at this restaurant several years ago for my husband's high school reunion and the catered dinner was very good. The other day I found myself in Pontiac again around lunch time and thought I would go back to this restaurant. The friendly staff and the warm atmosphere make you feel right at home. One of the soups that... More
