Breakfast

This is one of the best places we have enjoyed breakfast while traveling this year. Great food, (try one of their omlets), and very friendly staff. Nice hometown food and service!

Pontiac Family Restaurant was a good place to stop for breakfast. There were many choices on the breakfast menu. There were several picks for Seniors. Service was quick and the meal was great!

We eat here quite often. This restaurant has a wide variety on their menu, so no problem in feeding anyone in your party. They also have selections for kids as well as for seniors. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating. The best part is they are located right off of Rt 66!! Travel the mother road but stop... More

Came to this restaurant because they are a supporter of the Rt 66 restoration effort. We were glad we came here. Had a good meal for a very reasonable price. Mostly locals as the staff seemed to know almost everyone. Very nice selection on their menu. Would stop here again.

My wife and I live in Pontiac and eat at Family Kitchen regularly. This is nothing fancy - but it is clean, comfortable, homey, and you will not fine more friendly management and staff. The service is always above average. They have an extensive menu - maybe the best selection you will find in the area. We regularly have breakfast... More

We are regulars here. Once a week. This us not a steak house but they have alot of selections on their menu. Breakfast all day. A nice variety of sandwichs. No the steaks aren't great but almost everything else is. We had veal parmesan. Very tender. Pork chop sandwich is very tender and bigger than the bun. Usually 2 kinds... More

I stopped here with my two aunts and uncle for dinner. I was hopeful that I would be able to get a good steak for my dinner. Boy was I wrong. the steak was so small I just couldn't believe that they were actually passing it off as a steak. Looked like it had been hiding in their freezer for... More

This is a good place for breakfast but skip the other meals. Everything tastes the same. Service was pretty good.

We ate breakfast there twice both times meet our expectations and more! First morning omelets. They were huge and so yummy. Coffee is so good too. The next day country fried steak and eggs. Man the portions are generous and so good to the last bite. Dont miss this resturants if your in town.
