Moe Joe's is a bit different from any other restaurant. The cuisine is Cajun, so many of their offerings are spicy. The place is decorated to look like Bourbon Street, including beads on each chair that patrons are welcome to take home. The wait staff have always been very helpful in describing how dishes are prepared. I am not a... More

Our dinning experience at MoJo's was excellent! It was very late when family came in on a Thursday evening. MoJo's not only had great food but long hours, excellent servers and a very nice bar. Our experience at MoJo's was very good!

Our family enjoyed celebrating a birthday on a Friday evening. Our 13 year old son is especially interested in spicy food and unusual meats. So finally we found a place where he doesn't mind hanging out with the parents. He liked the alligator bites and the turtle soup. As we entered there were fresh oysters being served to a happy... The food is always good and the portions are pretty good sized, but $13 for a bowl of gumbo is a little more than I like to pay when I can go to Heaven on Seven and get better gumbo for $7 for the same size bowl.

We've eaten here a few times! The portions are huge! Great Cajun food and atmosphere! A little slice of the Bayou in downtown Plainfield! Jumbalya, broiled crawfish, and General Cajun cuisine can be had here! Drinks are great, the Hurricanes will knock you out! They have a great selection of beer and the bar atmosphere makes you feel like your... More

Before I ordered the Ahi Tuna I asked the server how often they get fish. She indicated that it is flown in fresh every day so I ordered it. However, the Ahi Tuna had a really strong taste which indicated it was not very fresh. They may get it every day but the piece I was served was not one... More

In town for a vacation visiting family and being a Nola and Creole-Cajun fanatic I was surprised when my brother in law told me about Moe Joe's in Plainfield. The food was superb. I had the crawfish po-boy and it was layed out. Plenty of crawfish lightly fried with fresh lettuce and chunks of tomato. The remoulade was wonderful that... More

which is exactly what you'll need to dine there. Food is good, it's the constant turn over in staff and always a wait for drinks or food or anything!!! Good beer selection and the chicken is kickin!!

We went to Moe Joe's a year or so ago after seeing it on Chicago's Best, but now have been back once and done takeout once. The drinks are really tasty. I especially like the Nola drink with the edible flower. |The beer selection is great too, Two Floyd's on tap and other Mardi Gras favorites. I have gotten the... More

By far this is my favorite place to eat at when I'm in town. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and great ambiance. Definitely some of the best food in the area! Highly recommended!
