I like trying out local restaurants, especially in support of the small business owners. My family and I arrived early on a Saturday without another customer sat in the place. The waiter was pleasant and attentive however it took entirely to long for the food to be served. You would think they were killing the cow themselves, plucking the chicken or... More

Vito & Nicks II in Plainfield is a chip off the old block, of Vito & Nicks in Chicago on Pulaski. What you don't get with this version is the tables and background still looking like the late 60s. There is no shag carpeting on the walls (no, I'm NOT kidding), and the bar looks very modern. What V&N II... More

We walked in and there were maybe 8 tables full. We were sat right away and our drink order was taken. We asked... More

We really like the pizza here, thin crust very crisp yet not burnt. We were thoroughly disappointed in the other menu item ordered, a grilled chicken sandwich. Over cooked and no grill marks, it seems that they use their pizza oven to cook everything. Can't weigh in on pasta dishes or anything else. Won't go back, unless it's a pizza... More

We ordered the legendary "beef and peppers" pizza. Crust was very crispy and the beef tasted as if it was a buttery steak. Beer cost $2.50. It was very good and I would recomend it to everyone.

We had the large pizza with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. It was much more than the four of us could eat. Thin, crisp crust with loads of toppings. It's spicy, and oh so delicious, and tastes great cold the next day! There's an extra special taste that I can't quite describe, but it adds a ton of flavor to the... More
