I have enjoyed many great restaurants in my travels, but to have one this good in the country, wow. The mahi mahi/ swordfish/ ahi are amazing. The chef prepares a special glaze that is unique and seasoned to perfection. This restaurant is a must if in the area. We love to sit at the bar and talk w the bartenders... More

I've been here many times and have never had a bad meal or bad service. Drinks are always amazing and food is always great.

I was skeptical when a friend told me to try Brandy's for Sunday brunch. I shouldn't have been; Brandy's is awesome. The drinks are great and the food is some of the best I've ever had. If you go to Brandy's the Biscuits and Gravy is a must have. Beware the portions are huge and every table gets an order... More

Spent a weekend in the Starved Rock area and wanted a cozy, better than average food restaurant. Based on other reviews, made reservations here. Hard to find due to construction in the area. If coming from LaSalle, take First Street into Peru (not very far), watch for Putnam Street, turn left, turn left again at the bottom of the hill.... More

It is a small and intimate place with a lot of character. It's in an older building right off the Illinois River. The service was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing! I really did not expect anything like this in a small town. It's every bit as good as you would find in a major city like San Francisco or... More

We were driving through Illinois heading back to our home in Northern Michigan and happened upon Brandy's. What an incredible find! We had an amazing dinner sitting right at the bar. Our bartender Jason was not only knowledgeable about the entire menu but a great bartender. This spot should be a "destination restaurant" and we will definitely be back! Thanks... More

This is a restaurant that I really enjoy dining at. It is small so it is really recommended to make a reservation since it fills up very fast. Some people just drop in and if there is an opening at the bar, they sit there and eat. This time I had the Mahi Mahi and it was the best fish... More

What a marvelous find! We enjoyed a Filthy Martini with just the right amount of olive juice and Kettle one. Also had a classic Brandy Alexander with French Vanilla Ice Cream. Absolutely wonderful. Appetizers were great we had the Italian cheese steak and the crab cakes. For sure we would do it again! Great place make sure you make reservations... More

Stopped in this unique bistro style restaurant while staying at the local marina. What a pleasant surprise with the awesome foods, friendly staff and any kind of martini you can imagine!!! We had a blast and will definitely go back!
