FAST AND FAMOUS

I lunched here with high school classmates. The service was fast, friendly and informal (this is the Midwest!), A wide selection of beers and nice dishes for the male carnivore.

Decent fish and chips that almost bring you to the green island plus an impressive collection of very good beers, including three Belgian Chimay Trappist Ales. The food would not exactly be impressive if you were in, say Milan or Copenhagen, but is a pretty good for Peorian standards.

The drinks were many and varied, with drafts, IPA, bottled, and cocktails. The food was excellent and flavorful, with excellent Irish food selections on the menu. Outside dining was available when I went with a ton of available parking. It is next to the river, but it is set back a ways from the water and there is a building... More

I needed a place to host our club and seeing most of us are British or Australian we thought it would make a really nice change to try this Irish Pub. Was that ever the wrong choice to make! It wasn't a bother that we were placed as far back in the restaurant as you can get because I thought... More

Ample free parking, delightful atmosphere both indoors and outdoors but the real attraction is all the wonderful craft beers. We had a large party and the server was friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. Full Irish menu, with colcannon, Irish stew, Shepard's pie, and an assortment of regular bar food. Main dining area was really noisy but we sat in... More

Was in Peoria for a visit and opted for Kelleher's based on location and reviews. Was seated promptly. Had the shepherds pie and it was good but not so good that I feel I would return if back in area. Service was nice but had an air of being perfunctory and got impression from one employee that she would rather... More

I have been here several times and they have a pretty cool atmosphere for just about any occasion. The food is pretty good but a little on the pricey side. They have an authentic feel that draws you back if you're in the area but am not sure a special trip is warranted.

I had the good fortune to go to this establishment recently. Not on my usual list of places to eat or drink for no other reason than it's not an area that I frequent for a meal. The service was very good. Prompt and knowledgeable would be good words to use. The quality of the sandwiches we had had was... More

Came here after visiting the zoo. I like a good authentic irish pub yet they are hard to find in the state outside the Chicago area. Ordered the Guinness pot roast with the champ potatoes really delicious. The waitress was very friendly and brought our food out quick. Will come back again!!
