Willie's freaking rocks. It is what is is from the outside look of the old service station to the 1970's "joint" dive (and I mean that with all the love in my heart because I love the traditional hole in the wall dives of yesteryear) atmosphere inside. Willie, Willie, Willie. MMMMM, MMMMM. Tamales are not all that comes off of the Will-meister's grill. Get a pork chop, brat, polish, all with grilled onions. Don't get the ribeye sandwich unless you're planning on staying in Peoria, because you'll never be able to leave. You'll be hooked.

Greasy, bland, mystery meat. Just because they've been making them a long time doesn't make them edible. I'd rather not eat.

Stopped by Willie's cart on Adams Street to get a pork chop sandwich. Last time was 2006 with an old boss of mine. So $6 later I have a sandwich that's big enough for two. Time to hit the road and head towards Chicago so I eat and drive. The sandwich is really good so I chase it down with... More

Haven't actually eaten at Willie's restaurant but his downtown cart has excellent chicken and pork chop sandwiches among other grilled items.
