Took an out of town friend to Cyd's for lunch today. She got a Greek salad and said that it tasted good. She needed an extra dressing as the first dressing was only a 2 tablespoon serving, not enough for the size of the salad. To get an extra dressing would cost 75 cents plus tax, so 83 cents. It... I went there around 12 on a Monday and it was extremely busy. There weren't quite enough tables for everyone there, but service was really fast. I had the not so gourmet burger and sweet potato fries and it was lovely. There is no sauce on the burger though, so I would recommend asking for one. I used their ranch... More

This was our second time. It was very good. Very busy if you go at 12noon. it is next door to Broms Furriiers which is awesome. A little pricey for lunch but worth going. Would go again.

Never again!! EVER!!! Their version of bruschetta is not only strange, but overly salty due to way too many kalamata olives. $41+ is strong for lunch, but worth it if the service and/or food are exceptional. I won't fault the food, other than my comment above. It's above average but still overpriced in my opinion. But the service is HORRIBLE!!!... More

If you want to have burgers on Wed. night at Cyd's you need to plan on the whole ENTIRE evening. You will wait 1- 11/2 hours to get seated and another hour to get through the meal. The burgers are good and it's a nice atmosphere but there are some REAL issues with organization and efficiency with this place! Things... More

Cyd's is a great local spot, lovely breakfast, lunch and dinner options...also special evenings like Burgers on the Boardwalk. It can be very expensive, the bakery almost seems absurdly overpriced but the food is good quality and almost always well-prepared and consistent. Food is fresh and lovely, atmosphere is sweet and the outdoor seating is great in nice weather. I... More

Just because a place is in a fancy neighborhood and has a pricy menu does not mean the food is remarkable. Seriously over priced. Ridiculous. How much should one pay for beans and cucumbers in a plastic cup? Meatloaf? The food is not bad, let me be clear on that. It just isn't that good. I live very close and... More

So a friend of mine recommended this restaurant. I was told it is an upscale nice place to eat lunch and get a variety of food. We chose this restaurant to eat lunch and try something new. I had no idea I would be eating food tainted with somebody hair! It makes you question exactly what is in it that... More

Ok...Peoria is NOT a foodie town or the 1st place one thinks of when looking for something refreshing and different. But...CYD's really hit the spot. Went with family and ordered grilled vegetable sandwich with homemade chips. The server was pleasant. Presentation was great and sandwich was very fresh and yummy. The food is creative. The dessert selection ( though did... More
