second visit, this time lunch, still not impressed. There were great choices, reasonable prices. They needed another wait person or bus/helper person. Lunch took over 90 min. Dirty dishes stacked on shelf, tables didnt get cleared. Coffee served was cold, one of the soups was not hot. Server was run ragged. Salmon salad was wonderful, partner loved his sandwich.

PV II is a real gem. The food and service is second to none. It is reassuring to know that your meal didn't come out of a boiling bag like it does in the restaurant chains. Your meal is cooked all by itself, to order, with the freshest ingredients. Chef Josh is always willing to prepare a special meal for... More

PV II is our go-to restaurant. They have delicious lunch dishes, along with an assortment of soups, salads, and sandwiches (sorry, no burgers). Dinner menu has even more wonderful dishes to pick from. Something for everyone.

We had to wait a little bit to be seated even though the place was not very busy. The staff was very helpful. The food was amazing, the duck pasta was exquisite and the ravioli were delicious as well.

I was very disappointed in my soup selection at PV II in Peoria last night. Their food is usually outstanding, but the parmesan and egg soup was just awful. The broth was very thin, watery and tasteless, and the parmesan and egg dumplings were very dry and tasteless, as well. There was a lot of spinach floating in it. My... More

Their pastas are one of the best in town. It is a small place, but has it's own character and charm. Quite frankly, their veggie pastas are a delight! Must try the orange sauce!!

This was our first experience here. The food was delicious, the service wonderful, but the atmosphere was lacking. We had the bake Brie and fruit appetizer along with cocktails to start. That came out quickly and with a smile! Salads were quick and tasty with just enough dressing to not overpower. I ordered the amaretto filet... It was hot and... More

Pv II is a treat, from the carefully prepared meal to the caring, involved owners. It is really exceptional in this world of thaw and nuke to have the meal made from scratch. A repeat dining spot for our family! An add on is the varied menu with great seafood with a hint of sauciness and pasta.

We went here with the idea that it would be a fancier type restaurant. We were surprised at how casual it was. The food was very good but the portions were small. Glad we went and tried it but definitely not a restaurant where I am raving about it and wanting to go back soon.

Where can you go for lunch and get an entrée with salad for $9? The food is excellent and the price is right. Combine that with good service and you have a winning restaurant. Love the Raspberry Vinegarette salad with cranberries and white chocolate shavings!
