Been going there for years

We went there when I was a child and it was the old A&W. As far as the set-up, not much has changed. You can still sit outside in your car and order thru the box or sit inside at stools while watching the kids working. The root beer is still good and served in cold glasses, not frosted but... read more

If you want a traditional Coney Dog, this is the place. Root beer is root beer but a Coney Dog is a different story! This is also a traditional drive in root beer stand which you can't find almost hardly...truly a dying breed.

Cranwill's is a good old fashioned root beer stand that was formerly an A & W. The food, service and root beer is still great. I wish they still used the better grade of hot dog and had a better location.

An old fashioned carbon place that has fantastic food and root beer that is made on site daily. Friendly service at very good prices.

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way out of town from camping during the 4th of July weekend. We stopped around noon and there wasn't many people there. We had seen the place FULL a few nights prior on our way in and figured it must be good. We were pleasantly surprised with how fresh and tasty the... More

Love their coney dogs and homemade rootbeer!! Fried mushrooms & onion rings!! I go back in my mind to the days of curbies and drive ins, when I go to the best drive in town. Even had the dogs with us!

Just like the old days, you can roll up to Cranwill's and place your order from your car and a carhop will deliver it to your window. There is also limited seating inside and a few picnic tables outside. When we were there it smelled really bad outside -- we thought it was from the nearby plant. Since the indoor... More

Cool little hotdog joint that is a throwback to simpler times. Chillicheese dog with chillicheese fries, you can't go wrong. Never a long wait and excellent chilli!
