great old time diner

Lola's serves bountiful plates of delicious food. Our family favorite meal is breakfast there. Delicious omelettes, fluffy pancakes and always enough for the next day's breakfast left over. Prices are reasonable, service attentive.

What a hidden find for a diner. The decor is straight retro diner and the food is really good. Great value for your money and everything was so tasty. If you are searching the hinterlands for a food spot check this out, you will not regret.

My Cuz and I went there for lunch yesterday and even though it was crowded with the Columbus Day kids off from school, the service was still fine and the food was very good. I had the chicken ceasar salad and the cream of corn soup and both were among the best of their kind that I have ever had.... More

If the water didn't have a bad taste/aftertaste, I'd give this place a 5. So we always get a juice of some sort. We grab breakfast here at least once a month. Skillets are the best!! Nice portions. They always give you three eggs in any order that has two. The atmosphere is clean and retro. Blakc and white checkered... More

We wanted a place to meet a friend near O'Hare when we flew in before driving off. It was very convenient. And the food was delicious. It was lunch so I had the chopped salad, delicious. One of my friends avoids gluten and they had gluten free crepes for her to choose from. A big portion and she only could... More

Went here for breakfast upon the recommendation of a friend. The owners have made this into a diner type place. The menu was extensive with a lot of choices for "comfort" food plates. My breakfast skillet (meat lovers) was large and flavorful. The potatoes were delicious. Instead of toast you could have pancakes which I am glad I ordered. The... More

If you like potatoes that taste like potatoes......come on in...It would be insulting to call these American Fried Potatoes "hash browns"..The breakfast was a delight...great service, fluffy perfect ly cooked scambled eggs and did mention the Amarican Fried Potatoes...I don't know of any place that does them better.....great coffee also..reward yourself...breakfast at LoLa's.

I often go out to lunch in Park Ridge with friends or grandchildren. I've been to Lola's twice in the past month, and plan on returning often. The lunch menu is extensive, with sandwiches, salads, daily soups and specials. The kids menu includes favorites like Mickey Mouse pancakes and chicken strips. Everything tastes fresh, prices are reasonable, and the diner... More

They make a great omelet and the coffee if good enough to have a second cup or two. That says a lot for a privately owned and operated restaurant that must compete with so many chains.
