The food is always great here, never disappointing, but when the kitchen gets busy with take out orders, the dining room kind of takes a back seat on service. There is usually just the one person behind the counter taking calls, taking payments, and working the floor. Came 1 week ago, sat in the dining room for about 15min and... More

People always rave about Cida Thai and rightfully so. My Cida Thai friends all have agreed that Thai Smile is a notch better. Chef Don always cooks fresh and delicious food. The spicy Pad Kra Paw is my favorite dish here. The beef and chicken are always top quality meat and the basil leaves are outstanding. Don occasionally adds bamboo... More

We had a family dinner here while visiting our son at his college nearby. The service was great and the food was very good. It was a snowy night and I was surprised at how busy the place was. The food was very tasty (I had "green curry") and they had a nice menu of items if you weren't a... More

I took my grandson to Thai Smile based on reviews I've read and I am shocked that this place is getting such good reviews. I don't think this place even remotely compares to other Thai places in Chicago or Oak Park. The Pad Thai had a strange smell that lingered as an aftertaste. My chicken pieces were dry and rubbery... I have been searching for a great Thai restaurant in the south suburbs of Chicago and as of yet hadn't found any. That is until I stumbled across Thai Smile in Palos Heights. I have driven past the restaurant (which is located in a strip mall) but never gave it a second thought. I was looking through TripAdvisor and found... More

We have been eating here for several years--when we have a taste for Thai, we grab of bottle of chilled white wine and head to the Thai Smile. The Ginger Chicken and the Basil Chicken are the entrees we usually order. The Thai Egg Rolls are also great. The waiter named "ME" is an excellent waiter and very friendly. When... More

A nice, quaint restaurant with Asian decor located in a strip mall. Entrance in front and back. They make my special order - gluten-wheat-egg and dairy free. I order the Wide RIce Noodle, no soy with Beef and vegetables....always very good! The owner is very nice and personable.

What a great bargain being a BYOB with no corkage fee. This is a great place to take a group of friends and share some wine. Make reservations since the dining room does not have a lot of seating. The food is good. I typically get the shrimp shumai appetizer and the chicken pad thai.
