Bar? Restaurant? Which is It? BOTH!

We've been by this place a million times, but finally ventured in for lunch one day on a whim. It IS a bar (I imagine not the place for kids or families on a big game night or later into the evening/night), BUT by God, they have really good food! We both had Reuben sandwiches and they both didn't... read more

Went there on Christmas Eve morning. I had a few drinks & was sitting at a table. I needed a glass of water because I was coughing. Went to the bar so I could get one quickly. Crabby woman bartender said I would have to wait to get some glasses washed. There was a huge stack of different size CLEAN... More

We have lived down the street from the Donkey Inn for almost 30 years. We usually order take out. We have never been disappointed in the meals. We enjoy going with friends and family to watch hockey games during the winter months.

Bad quality food, dirty, and butter in basket was USED! When I pointed that out to the waitress she laughed & answered.." Oh well" Awful place unless you'are a drunk sitting at the bar over a shot and a beer.

Good food and lots of it. Especially like the Chicken Parm. Great service with a smile. They serve their diners like one of the locals!

Forget about preordering anything. The phone line is always busy. It's almost as if someone takes the phone off the hook purposely no jk

I've lived in the area for almost 30 years and NEVER ventured into the Donkey Inn because 1) the location is oddly placed 2) the name is odd 3) it's a BAR. Yesterday was St. Paddy's day and I needed corned beef and cabbage. I don't know how to cook corned beef and cabbage. Donkey Inn had a "Corned Beef... More

I'm so proud to say that the wonderful Schnell brothers have done a wonderful job running the Donk! The waitstaff is fun and friendly. The atmosphere at the Donk is cozy and friend/family oriented. The drinks are good and priced fair. The food is also very tasty. The salsa and chips are delicious and you get a TON of salsa!... More
