We were here on a Sunday afternoon. Greeted cheerfully, chips and good salsas right away. I ordered a combo plate, my husband a more authentic item off the specials menu. Everything was very good. Staff was very concerned about my husband liking his dish, as we were the only " gringos" in the place. Great value, good authentic Mexican food... More

I have been to Burrito Jalisco many, many times in my life. I used to get the chicken or steak fajitas that come out sizzling and was very delicious, but i've moved on to a dish called Carne A La Tampiquena. It is a skirt steak tampiquena style w/one cheese enchilada. It comes with rice, beans, and guacamole. It is... More

Growing up eating homemade Mexican food there's no comparison. I live in the area and have tried pretty much every Mexican joint in town this location and their sister location is always my goto! Burrito Jalisco is my favorite if I need to buy Mexican food to go. I have dined in the restaurant before and service is spotty but... More

This place, tucked inside a strip mall behind a McDonald's and Culver's is a jewel. Very extensive menu, friendly staff, huge portions, excellent drinks - very attentive. I dined with three other people. I had the #7, flour enchiladas with cheese. I chose the mild sauce and the plate came heaping with guacamole, spanish rice, and beans. The enchiladas were... More

This is the first visit my husband and I had at Burrito Jalisco. Our waitress treated us poorly when she was shown a Groupon type coupon. Others received their appetizers and a the meal before we were served. We ordered fajitas and were brought to the table warm, not sizzling. We had asked for flour tortillas and received corn. The... I went to the TInley Park location with a large group on a weeknight. They do not have a lot of seating, so a weeknight was good for our large group and they have 1/2 price margaritas Monday - Thursday. I tried the Mango...a little sweet for me. Will get something else next time. I ordered the guac, and it... More

I have eaten at Burrito Jalisco dozens of times...,for both lunch and dinner. Don't expect tablecloths and a Mariachi band. Don't expect the wait staff to always understand English. Be prepared to order "by the numbers"...(I'll have number 7..) You CAN expect great food served fresh. I usually have the steak taco's but have tried other things on the menu... More

Quick lunch on a Saturday. Service was slow, but the restaurant was not busy. Chips were acceptable, with two nice varied sauces. Chorizo and Al Pastuer Burritos were more than we could eat in a sitting. Good flavor. Chicken soup was amazing, whole pieces of chicken and hunks of vegetables in a rich broth.
