Best Restaurant in Oregon

Tucked-away off the beaten path, if you're from out of town you wouldn't know about it unless you read a review here or a local tells you about it (which is how I found it.) And while I love small towns and the countryside, normally that means giving-up good local eating options. This place is... read more

This is a tricky place. TripAdivsor has it as Oregon's best reviewed restaurant which says a lot more about TripAdvisor than it does about La Vigna or Oregon. La Vigna has all the visual trappings of an out of the way Italian bistro and it is modestly and tastefully appointed. The food however is bland and unexceptional. Every dish conforms... More

The quality of their products (vegetables, cheese, seafood & meats) are very good, but they kill it with too much oil, butter, and cream. Also, I do not think of pasta dishes (pasta is a cheap filler) of being worth as pricey as they charge. I make pasta at home (with all the best ingredients) and I cannot fathom how... More

Its out of the way but well worth the drive. If the weather permits, eat outside. ALL the food is good so try something new. Its refreshing to have great Italian food that isn't just pasta and red sauce. Wonderful steaks. The salmon is great. Be sure to look at the specials. The gelato is wonderful as well.

the food wasn't over the top but it was not bad either. For the price it could have been a little better. The service was awesome. Owner came out and spoke with us about preservatives in food. They were very accommodating and helpful. Nice place for a special occasion.

Ordered eggplant parmesan, it was ok, but the pasta was floating in half an inch of water. Waitress kindly apologized took it back & returned it with less water & more sauce, but by then the pasta was cold, so needless to say & was able to eat that hot.

I am a tough reviewer. I like a clean place with attentive service that's available, but not hovering. This menu is wonderful, the specials are creative, and the service was great! I had the veal picatta, YUM! But the cream of Pea soup was fantastic. Not split Pea, cream of Pea! Hubby had the ahi special and he loved the... More

I have worked in Oregon for years and have heard how good the food was, so I took my wife and kids there for Mother's Day. It was a very good experience! The food was very good. My lasagna was chocked full of meat and was delicious. My kids each got chicken fettincie alfredo. They both stated the chicken was... More

Excellent. You will not be disappointed. One of my favorite places to go. Can't go wrong with any meal. If u like mussels, have the appetizer... U can't get mussels like that anywhere even close to here. And you have to try the homemade deserts. Can't pick one... They are amazing, keep going back until u have tried them all!
