The Perfect Spot for a Romantic Dinner or a Cozy Time with Family

I absolutely love La Vigna. This is where I take my son when we need some one on one time with some delicious food and a homey atmosphere without the distractions of home. We're always greeted by Debbie who goes out of her way to make sure we're comfy and have what we need. There is a wide variety... read more

We have never had a less than excellent meal here! The waitstaff is wonderful, the service impeccable, the atmosphere cosy and the food portions are abundant.

I've eaten at La Vigna before but never taken the time to write a review. Tonight I had the mushroom soup, salmon with capers, and to top it off, creme brulee. It was really wonderful. Service was lovely and I really appreciated that when we were first seated, we were immediately thanked for coming in. It's a very old restaurant... More

We had been meaning to try this restaurant for years, as it is near our lake place, but we just never made it there. My daughter and two of my grandkids and I decided to give it a try when we were here for spring-break. We were there early for when it opened. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.... Food was really good, service was OK. The nest part about the entire visit was the owner came out to address my food allergies. I'm happy to say that they don't have much with preservatives in it so I could eat there. We had stakes and that were good. I've never been one to pay 9.99 for spaghetti or meatloaf... More

Tucked-away off the beaten path, if you're from out of town you wouldn't know about it unless you read a review here or a local tells you about it (which is how I found it.) And while I love small towns and the countryside, normally that means giving-up good local eating options. This place is therefore way out of character... More

This is a tricky place. TripAdivsor has it as Oregon's best reviewed restaurant which says a lot more about TripAdvisor than it does about La Vigna or Oregon. La Vigna has all the visual trappings of an out of the way Italian bistro and it is modestly and tastefully appointed. The food however is bland and unexceptional. Every dish conforms... More

The quality of their products (vegetables, cheese, seafood & meats) are very good, but they kill it with too much oil, butter, and cream. Also, I do not think of pasta dishes (pasta is a cheap filler) of being worth as pricey as they charge. I make pasta at home (with all the best ingredients) and I cannot fathom how... More

Its out of the way but well worth the drive. If the weather permits, eat outside. ALL the food is good so try something new. Its refreshing to have great Italian food that isn't just pasta and red sauce. Wonderful steaks. The salmon is great. Be sure to look at the specials. The gelato is wonderful as well.

the food wasn't over the top but it was not bad either. For the price it could have been a little better. The service was awesome. Owner came out and spoke with us about preservatives in food. They were very accommodating and helpful. Nice place for a special occasion.
