We were meeting friends from out of state. Neither of us are from Oak Park area. We picked Winberie's based on other people's reviews. So glad we picked this restaurant. Atmosphere was good, server was good, food was great. Wish we lived closer. We would eat there more if it was close by.

As a long time resident of Oak Park, IL we've seen restaurants come and go over the years but I've always like Winberie and it my default "go-to" spot for meeting friends, family or business associates in the area. It was also the first place to serve alcohol in Oak Park, which had been "dry" for as long as anyone... More

A chain restaurant which is very pleasant and a nice menu. The food is better than most of these type of restaurants and good for lunch

We love this place and always go for lunch or dinner when we visit family in River Forest. The food is always wonderful and the service, also. It's also very comfortable and cozy inside.

After touring The F. L. Wright home, we stopped in here for a drink. The host and servers were very friendly and put tables together for us in the bar. We ordered the bruschetta and hummus appetizers, and enjoyed our beers. We were so comfortable we decided to order dinner right there, and everyone liked their food. The macaroni and... More

This is such a good place to eat. Steak or salad or anything in between. Friendly service and near the Village parking garage which is most reasonable. French onion soup is a winner. The bread basket is outstanding.

We live in the neighborhood and had not tried Wineberries for many years: not since our kids were younger and we took them to the Sunday brunch in the buildings's hallway orchestrated by Wineberries. The greeter and waitress were most friendly. We ordered a meatloaf and white fish entree. Our onion soup was a 7. The meat dish was good... More

Lovely atmosphere with pretty decor & relaxed feel. The service was very good, efficient and thoughtful. We all had delicious sandwiches. Even the iced tea tasted special. The gluten free bun was the best I've ever had, tasty & did not fall apart like most do.
