A surprise find - not even one suggested in the area of Frank Lloyd Wright home!

What a great find - and surprise!! Lots of airy space- very good service- and a menu to tempt all palates! BBQ brisket, grilled rueben, grilled salmon - all delicious! Home made chips - terrific! Casual - but delightful! Brick walls, dark wood interiors - another step back in time- to more of a... read more

Nice restaurant, got the prairie chicken special, served not done, retry not done. I know it as the 4th but close the doors if you do not want the business.

My husband and I had an enjoyable meal at Winberie's Restaurant. I loved the atmosphere--the brick walls and wood tables gave it a cozy, comfortable feel. Our waitress was the best--friendly and cheerful. We had the crab cake appetizer--a tasty treat. For my main course I had the Grilled Jamaican Pork. It had a bit of a kick to it,... More

Just happened along to find this place! The waitress was great and answered any questions we had about the food...Monday is no meat Monday and the food was wonderful! The food is moderately priced. It was quiet and clean. The chef sure seemed to know his way around the food! Great place and would go again

After walking for a couple of miles admiring the Frank Lloyd Wright homes, his office, home and the Unity Church, I was hungry and needed to sit and relax for a while. Winberie's has a nice lunch menu and prompt service. I ordered a small plate of ahi tuna tacos served in fried wonton which was just delicious! After lunch,... More

Excellent food & good service. We sat outside but the inside is beautiful & very clean. Great place to stop for lunch after touring Wright's home.

Ate twice at Winberie during Frank Lloyd Wright weekend. Good selection of snacks and entrees, and reasonably priced. quick service. Enjoyed it a lot.

Boringly predictable. Same old, same old. Getting too fancy = known beer offerings slim to zero. Add negatives of chilly temperatures in mid-May and loud screaming lyrics overhead. Go across the street to the Oak Park version of Culinary Arts for really tasty foods served by lovely dedicated people. Bringing your own drinks makes this even more enjoyable.

OMG ...this food was delicious and the restaurant was equally appealing. I would certainly return to this restaurant. We started out with the Clam Chowder soup, which was different (but good) with more of a tomato base. But what we were most excited about was the Calamari, the Asian Soy Glazed Salmon Salad, and the Chicken Rice Bowl. These item's... More
