This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Chicago area. The owner/chef, Paco, greets his guests with a hug and an "Oh my God!". He seems to recognize everybody and treats you like family. He comes to every table and tells you about the daily specials and how the flavors of the dish blend. The bar makes interesting and delicious... More

Chef Paco makes the rounds all the time. When he greats you he will say "oh my god" it is so good to see you. And when he describes his specialties, he says it again. It is a fun restaurant, and the food is great. The specialties are always the best. The regular menu has plenty to choose from, but... More

This is a good place to come with friends , specially in summer to sit outside. Food is pretty good, not the usual overload plate , is a little more gourmet . Main dishes change every time and one of chefs come alongside tables to tell you dish if the day, Not a bad place to go every so often,

We picked up a friend in Oak Park and then 4 of us came for a birthday dinner. We were delighted by the staff and their enthusiasm and careful detail at describing all of Chef Paco's entrees and appetizers. They were proud of the delicious food hand made here. Chef Paco's was out and about in th restaurant visiting with... More

That title may sound trite. But that's the favorite phrase of the owner and chef. Not only is the food fabulous, you get that personal touch, every table, every time. The owner comes by and shows you the specials. They also have a nice patio in the summertime.

Went here after we traveled thru Oaxaca and Hualtuco. Chef Paco is so kind and really captures the flavors of Mexico! Love the stuffed pablano with pomegranate, muy rico!!! So easy to bring kids but also a good date place.

Who would expect such exciting Mexican cuisine outside downtown Chicago? Chef Paulo apparently just opened a second location in the loop-- and when you eat here, it's clear why! We had guacamole and quesadillas for appetizers-- the quesadilla was really fantastic, with really authentic, chewy, Mexican chihuahua cheese. And more than enough for four of us! The guacamole was maybe... More

Came here kind of late on a very cold Monday night after visiting the Brookfield Zoo. It was the perfect antidote for our cold and hungry bodies. There were five of us and they were able to seat us right away. There were so many delicious options that it was really hard to choose what to order. After reading a... More

New Rebozo is a quaint, fun, delicious place to spend an afternoon or evening. I had their Tamarind Margaritas (2), their Pomegranate Chile dish and tasted their 6-Tamale platter with 6 different types of Mole! HOLY MOLE! All were delicious, my favorite is the one on the far right and the white chocolate. Chef Paco is a wonderful host and... More

Wow! Chef Paco is brilliant. His passion for flavour and product shines through in every dish. We were walking by this restaurant when Chef Paco approached us and asked us what we knew about Mexican cuisine and described his food philosophy...we were sold! This is hands down the best meal I have ever had...not just the best Mexican but the... More
