My family eats Khyber Pass about once or twice a month. My kids love the Mango Lassis and Chicken Tikka Masala. My wife likes the Saag Aaloo. I am partial to the Dal Mukhini and Chicken Tikki Masala as well. The service is pretty good and the restaurant is clean. You can order on grubhub for carry out and they... More

This is a gem of a restaurant. Never had bad service, though we usually order the buffet. Very good food, as good as the best I've had on "Restaurant Row" on Devon, or in England. Prices standard for this cuisine. Best mango ice cream in the area. Been going there for 20 years, kids have grown up with it and... More

I've been in Oak Park for over 10 years and have dined here plenty of times. The food is consistently good (though I've had a spotty experience now and then). I do think the food is overpriced and I caution anyone that orders take-out; the math gets a little strange.

Just stumbled upon this place while walking through downtown Oak Park. We were pleasantly surprised. There was a good variety at the Buffett and everything was seasoned well. Perhaps it was a little pricey but not too ridiculous. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I've been in Oak Park for over 10 years and frequented this place many times in the late 90's. Back then, the food was DELICIOUS AND REASONABLY PRICED. However, the last 5 years have begun to paint a different picture. We've ordered food several times and had it delivered - what arrived just didn't justify the price. The Samosa's get... More

The food here is the best Indian in Oak Park. Not the best in the Chicago area, but it is reliably good for those times that you don't want to drive into the city to eat. Good lunchtime buffet for those who insist on overeating.

I don't know what these people are talking about, but the food here is great! Don't listen to 'em...its good. Ok I know that people may want truly authentic Indian food and yes I can understand the frustration for some but really we are in America, if you don't like the food cook it yourself. Anyway, the staff is very friendly... More

After years of living in Rogers Park and having had many excellent Indian meals prepared and served by authentically Indian people, I feel like I have a reasonable standing to describe the food at Khyber Pass as terribly disappointing. I really wanted to like it, so I've given them three tries over the years, but it's just not good. When... More

Absolutely poor food prepared by Mexican Cooks who pass this food as Indian Food. A great tragedy! This restaurant should be shut down. When asked why the food was so poor and bears no resemblance to Indian food, they tried to educate me!!!!! I am Indian and they are trying to tell me that Aloo Chat contains no Aloo or... More

Excellent place for break during Wright experience walk. Lunch buffet is simply great, has something for everyone including picky kid. Pleasant staff brought as complimentary a la carte dish. Unbeatable value for money for lunch.
