Wife and I were traveling to visit family and decided on Palermo's for dinner. Spaghetti meat sauce with sausage and baked clams and eggplant parmigiana, pasta Tomato sauce. Where do I start? Baked clams , good breading tuff clams, over baked. Eggplant was good but devoid of the provolone cheese, 2 slices of mozzarella on top was so low quality... More

What else can I say... Absolutely incredible. Thats how I describe this restaurant. Impeccable service and top notch food. The red sauce you could put on a car bumper and it would taste great. Its the sauce that is special. We had meatballs and red sauce for an appetizer and they were amazing, the pizza terrific and the bread they... More

This place used to be the best pizza on the south side. It had great staff, and options that you couldn't get anywhere else. But we've had 3 bad pizzas in a row, bad service in the restaurant, and two horrible banquet experiences all in 2014. They need to find who they are as a restaurant again. Back to the... More

Had our function in their main dining room around back. Serious smell of urine when you walked in. Enough said. Our contact for the evening was rude and unfriendly. Used to be a regular. Not anymore!

I was told this was the best place to have lunch in Oak Lawn. If so the others must really be poor. Service was ok and place looks like many old style Italian places from the 1950's which isn't bad. But lunch menu is extremely limited with very few pasta choices. My dining companion said she was "full' after eating... More

I had a really good spinach gnocchi from Palermos that I couldn't finish. Got it wrapped to go and forgot it there. Called up and they said that it must have been tossed in the trash. They prepared some more for me. It was really THAT good.

Love their pizzas for years. And now they have glutton free crust which is very good. They deliver, but the only drawback could be getting through on the phone. They are a very busy place. However their delivery is quick.

The food here is quite good, with a great variety for everyone. The wait staff is very pleasant. I do, however, have a problem with waiting to be seated when I have a reservation. This has happened to me quite often, anywhere from ten to twenty minutes. I do not like to wait when I have reserved a time.

My husband and I decided to dine at Palermo's I am crazy about their pizza. It was a Saturday, so we called to see if we needed reservations we were told 8:30. We arrived at 8:30, were seated. I looked around and couldn't figure out why I needs a reservation, they were crowded. Now comes the fun part. We waited... More
