In a business trip to Chicagoland, I've had a chance to visit Stir Crazy after a few years of absence. Being a fan of Asian food, I have selected the Orange Peel chicken, a dish I'm used to select when eating at PF Chang, which for me sets the bar among chain Asian restaurants. To make the story short sauce... More

Stir Crazy offers the customer a way to make their own meal. You go up to a buffet bar and put into a bowl all that you want in your sit fry--spinach, mushrooms, bok choy, water chestnuts, etc. Then you add the sauces--customizing you taste experience. When your all done you give it to your chef, who then adds your... More

I had never been to Stir Crazy before but was desperately looking for a place that could accommodate my dietary needs. I'm glad I came here. The service was excellent, very attentive waiter. I had plenty of options to choose from and could even create my own stir fry freshly made while I wait. I ordered the Szechuan chicken and... More

The restaurant concept is fantastic-fresh food is made for you. The deco is also very unique and artistic. But the food can be better. It is missing the authentic aroma of the food. The food is over-cooked, so the meat is not tender and juicy. Also, the services are slow. I chose my menu item and waited for 5 minutes... More

If you order the custom 'market bar' you can add the veggies and sauce you prefer. Many very good menu items. We usually order Blazing Noodles because we like it spicy. Husband likes the potstickers and the Asian coleslaw.

The service was poor and the food rather tasteless. The Restaurant did not feel very clean and the food did not taste very fresh. We won't go back.

Service was good. The food was very good. My daughter had a Salmon dish. I would have like more sushi type items. It is a chain so I know they are limited. The prices were a little high for lunch but it could have been what we ordered.

Thia place is located in Oak Brook Shopping center. Very popular and lively place where you can pick your own vegetables and they would cook it right in front of you. Want to see how 4 cooks prepare your dishes on a hot stove right in front of you?? This is the place . Everything works in unison...like a symphony... More

Food is always good and best part is the create your own stir fry. Servers are always kind and the value is worth the money spent there.

For a mini-reunion of old college friends, some connecting after a couple of decades, we couldn't have picked a better place. Though not quite fine dining, the cosy ambience, top-notch cuisine, excellent service and the delectable (optional) experience of selecting your own vegetables and meats and having them stir-fried or turned into soup in front of you was just perfect...
