Great menu with wonderful ambiance

We made last minute reservations on Sat night in prom season. Seated immediately in the main room but there are at least 3 private rooms for large parties. This has been preserved as an early 1900s house & has that charm! Small plates that include lamb lollipops offer plenty of choices. French... read more

Ordered bruschetta which came out burnt. Entrée was surf n turf which came out warm not hot. I can tell it had been sitting because the breading on the steak was peeled off. Mashed potatoes were cold. Their excuse was that the new owner decided to allow a party bigger then what was normally allowed. The party in the next... More

What a wonderful job they did for a wine tasting event that my husband and I attended. They perfectly paired the wines and the courses. The win person was very knowledgeable regarding the wines and shared stories of the taste and the flavors, to sharing what each winery is like. The food was delicious. The southern seafood soup was my... More

David and Paulo own and operate The Mansion. Paulo is a masterful chef of Portuguese heritage. His cuisine is imaginative with a European flair, well presented, and very flavorful. Great attention is given to plating the food so that it looks appetizing. The menu is varied to include all food groups. He only selects the best seafood. He has been... More

I came solo while in town for business. Great old plantation house with history. It was a very quiet Tuesday so guests were only seated in the bar area. I was disappointed as this house has multiple dining rooms but they are only used on the weekend, boo. I ordered a salad, rib steak, and asperagus ....I had a great... More

I appreciate your comments and will share them with the chef. I wish you would have said something about the food, we do try and make sure everything exceeds our guests expectations. We do fill up the front room first, and use the back rooms as needed during the week. We are very proud of our establishment and love to... More

I was greeted by the matire de with a smile and was seated immediately. The atmosphere and decor is very respectfully designed. My waiter was very courtesy and explained the special of the day. We recently attended a fund-raising event for the local Alzheimer's Association. There were four different food stations all containing foods that most people have never eaten. (smoked duck, stingray wings, wild boar and buffalo). Everything was incredible. The stingray wings were flash fried and topped with a lemon caper sauce with almonds. The wild boar was in a stew and... More
