The Francesca's restaurants serve reliable Italian dishes, and this one is no exception. The problem is that this is an extremely noisy place -- talking is difficult!

Great Italian food, generous drinks, great service, great location and easy meeting place at the Bar.

Husband and I like to try new places for our anniversary. We are an older couple, only married 3 years so we enjoy eating a nice meal at new places. This restaurant is a beautiful intimate restaurant in a small neighborhood. I use the word small and intimate again, but cozy and warm. We had a seat on the side... More

I chose this restaurant based on the reviews and because my group wanted to expand our "restaurant horizon." After waiting for at least 45 minutes we were brought to a table that was still dirty. We stood around for another 10 minutes roughly (feeling ridiculous) waiting for someone to come and clean it. That's just the start. We ordered a... More

I sat at the bar with a friend. We shared a 4 cheese pizza and pizza with egg. Both very good. I had an apple martini and a french martini. Both were excellent. I don't like my drinks too sweet and weak, nor too strong. They were delicious.

Probably not. The noise level in this place makes conversation impossible. Background music should be just that: in the background, and this restaurant ought to install drapes or acoustical ceiling tile to absorb some of the volume generated by too many people and tables crowded into the room. Our server was courteous and fairly prompt, and the friend I was... More

Went for dinner, requested a table for 8. They had us stuffed on a round table for 6 people. Finally convinced them to give us 2 four tops which was better. The menu is not that exciting, the food was a little better than average . The problem was that after the very nice waiter took our order he was... More

We were the first ones there on a hot and sunny Sunday. It was cool and comfortable inside, too cool for some later arrivals. We ordered special salads of asparagus and prosciutto which were interesting and tasty, then had the daily special pizza, a twist on the Margherita with a very goo cheese blend and what tasted like pesto. Worth... More

A group of 7 of us met at Francesca's North to have dinner and discuss our business. It was on a Monday evening so it was not as busy as it would be later in the week. We were seated in the back room away from the rest of the crowd so we could meet undisturbed. The service was prompt,... More

Since we moved to Northbrook we visited several times, and enjoyed it very much. But recently there was a shift. For some reason a chicken dish (which was obviously pre cooked) was served cold, even chilled inside! we sent it back to the kitchen and it came back kind of warm. That should not happen. And as much as we... More
