My new fav turkey burger

Tooling around all afternoon, we worked up an appetite and needed a meal. We were in Niles and spotted the "Howard Street Inn". I wasn't sure I wanted to eat at a restaurant affiliated with a golf course..for some reason I was thinking microwaved food, etc. but we decided to give it a try. First... read more

I know after reading the other reviews that I am in the minority but I really tried to like it here. We went for the first time on a Groupon and had an ok lunch. We then went back to try the Sunday buffet brunch and thought it was pretty disappointing and limited in variety. We then went back again... More

My wife and other friends have gone to the Howard Street Inn on a number of occassions and hve had no problems. This evening my wfe went there for an early dinner. My wife had the Shrimp Tacos and enjoyed them, me I had the Fish & Chips opting forthe Tater Tots as a side. I also ordered a Ginger... More

Met some friends here. As another person wrote it is not your average sports bar. Looks like a lot of regulars eat and drink here. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table so it isn't the well kept secret another reviewer wrote. I think the 5 star reviews come from locals, but I give it a very strong 4... More

Another well-kept secret in Niles. On Thurdays. they have two for one pizzas(takeout or eat-n). The thin crust pizzas are handmade with fresh cheese blend topping. Also on Thursdays they have $3.00 well martinis. The beer is cold, the waitresses are friendly, and they have several big-screens. What's not to like? Sunday brunch is cheap and delicious. If you are... More

We went for an early New Years eve dinner and we were not disappointed. Though not huge, it is definitely a sports bar, including two large TVs, and about 15 smaller ones all around the dining and bar area. We did notice the manager on the floor and he was working every bit as hard as the rest of the... More

My wife and I decided to try the Howard Street Inn the day after Thanksgiving and are we glad we did! Upon entry you'll find a round dining area overlooking the golf course with floor to ceiling windows decorated with plentiful college/pro pennants & posters. A large bar area is on the East side plus there's several TV's with various... More

We came for lunch at 1:00PM---10 of us. Without reservations, they accommodated us easily. Service is excellent, beers and wine specials on Tuesday. They have specials everyday though. It wasn't loud when we were there. Very relaxed atmosphere, and on Sat. and Sunday, they have a buffet breakfast costing about 12 bucks. Outside dining is good, but not past September.... More

Our Lions club had arranged a golf outing here but the rain caused us to cancel the golf part. We had about 18 people come for dinner. There are lots of TV's all over with the typical sporting events. The wait staff was good and knowledgeable. The menu looked inviting. They also have a Sunday Brunch. Most of our group... More

WE have been going to Howard Street for years, the manager is almost always there, which is marvelous. The servers are fantastic and special requests are always welcome. The wings are great as are the nacho's which are a meal ! The Pizza is also good. Just don't come to Howard Street when Notre Dame or Illinois Or the Bears... More
