Friendly service

This is a nice little cafe in the heart of New Lenox. Good food, a little pricey, great service. Parking can be a little tricky during peak hours. All and all not a bad place.

The service was very good and the food came out extremely quickly! The eggs were done perfectly and my wrap was medium sized and the fries were hot and fresh. This place is fantastic!

Stopped in here when our "Go To" was too crowded. Very good breakfast. The skillet was tasty and the pancakes were very good (basic but good). We'll definitely come back!

My wife and I went out for breakfast and wanted to try a different place for Sunday breakfast. We got to Matina a little after 7 and walked in and had to shout for someone to come out and serve us. Service was okay, but since we were the only ones in there, the one waitress should have been more... More

The restaurant was clean and sunny and had a nice relaxing atmosphere. The waitress was attentive without being a nuisance. The food was plentiful, hot, and quite tasty. We went on a Tuesday for a midday meal and we were seated promptly without any wait. Prices were reasonable and overall it was a nice meal for a nice price.

Service has deteriorated recently, I hope they return to their former standards. We've had burnt pancakes and raw pancakes.

Mattina Cafe is a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. The portions size are very large and very delicious. The food is alway fresh and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I have tried several entrée on the menu and have never been disappointed. My husband is a bread and meat type of man and wasn't as happy... More

This restaurant has good breakfast food in a nice setting. The restaurant is not too big nor is it too small. Good service.

One of three local places that I love to visit when I need a big breakfast fix! The country skillet is more than i can finish in one sitting - delicious! Wonderful coffee, too! Food is always fresh and prepared quickly! But don't rush away - savor some coffee and soak in the relaxing atmosphere and enjoy the great service.... More
