Excellent fast food

A wonderful experience. The store front looks like a take out place, but then there is a room in the back where you can sit and eat. This room is beautifully decorated reminding me of Italy. This Fontano's is franchised I think and not owned by the family. If you are used to the original from the city, the menu is pretty much the same, and is tasty. However, it is not quite there when it comes to the corner store in the neighborhood. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But if you are... More

Fantastic place for sub sandwiches! Love the meatball sandwich and the godfather sub! Classic Italian dinners and salads! Everything I have had here was very good and keeps me coming back! This is a small place in a strip mall with a counter and small tables in front. The back has larger tables. Take to go or dine in! Friendly... More

I want to try something else but am always drawn to the Roast Beef sub. You can't go wrong with this. Hopefully I will have enough will power to order something else the next time I visit.

Got a Groupon for this restaurant and boy did I luck out! It was dirt cheap $11 for 2 of each: 8in sub chose from all but two, bag of chips, side choice of salad, large drink of choice and cookie. There subs are awesome..bread was so fresh and lots to put on top of it and they were not... More

Went there for Mother's day few years ago and love it since. Their Sunday Family style dinner with choice of salad, pasta and chicken is less than $10 a person. We tried all different choices in our several visits and love them all. The food portion was good even though we thought it was not at first, but it did... More

We went here with a group last night - our first time. Very unassuming place. The good: whitefish dinner; $5 corkage fee for BYOB. The bad: the service (waiters TOO busy, begging for water refills, checks with mistakes, one meal very late); the veal was kind of chewy. It wasn't bad but we wouldn't go out of our way to... More

We ordered a chicken parmesean sandwich and a baked mostacolli to go. The sandwich had hard gonnella french bread, hardly any sauce. The chicken was basically a Tyson chicken strip deep fried and the portion barely covered the bun. The mostacolli marinara was not very good. The sauce was basically a can of crushed tomatoes. Lastly, the minestrone soup was... More

This is a small "store front" restaurant in a strip mall, anchored by a Jewel grocery store. I thought it was just sub sandwiches, but they have a rather nice menu of Italian dishes. We had the whitefish with spinach and grape tomatoes, and the Linguini Shrimp Puttanesca, which was linquini sautéed with shrimp, Kalamata olives, capers, spinach, roasted grape... More

I ate at Fontano's for lunch, after a co-worker suggested the place. The restaurant in small and very quiet. I had a chicken parm sandwich and side salad. Lunch cost approximatley $10 w/o a drink. The food was fair, nothing special. I would not rush back.
