Lunch Stop Worth It

My wife and I headed to downtown Naperville for a late lunch. We have talked about stopping in before...so we finally did. The food was very good, service was attentive, and the price was fair enough. We had the tomato and goat cheese appetizer - AMAZING! My wife had the skirt steak with sweet... read more

We dined at Tango at 8 pm on a Saturday evening. Place was busy. We asked for rooftop seating, it was a pleasant evening. We ordered a salad and tapas. All of the food was very good, when it arrived. Service was slow and the rooftop area could use some help to improve ambiance. Our waiter had more tables than... More

We stopped into Tango this afternoon and enjoyed a wonderful selection of four tapas plates. Bacon wrapped plantains, scallops, goat cheese and mushroom releno (I forget the actual menu names) were all very flavorful and delicious. The waiter said that the place is changing hands soon and will return to its Argentinean roots of food and that definitely means a... More

Visited Tango today and was disappointed to find that they removed the "lunch specials" from the menu. The chef created a chicken dish that was almost the same as the one previously offered was on the special menu. A table of five walked out after realizing that the specials were no longer offered for lunch. The chicken was dried out... More

We went with some friends for dinner. Several in our group had the sangrias and thought they were really good. Everyone ordered the steak they are famous for except one of us, who ordered fish. The tilapia was average (I've had better at Red Lobster). The topping was extremely salty and had no distinct flavor. The fish seemed slightly undercooked... More

Arrived on time with reservation and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated in an area with no waiting and the main traffic area taken up by a temporary buffet line. The intelligence of management setting up portable propane burners immediately adjacent to the main entrance has to be questioned... a fire at the omelet station could have resulted... More

Our family stopped in on a Saturday evening - three adults and three young children, including a baby. First, the kids did just fine with the children's menu's limited choices. One had a cheese burger (the kitchen forgot to add the cheese) and the other had the pasta, for which we had to request additional parmesan cheese. For the baby... More

My daughter took me to dinner here when visiting her in Glen Ellyn, IL. Great Sangria made tableside and too many tapas to decide on. My favorite was the beef carpaccio but the others were also good. (escalopes saltimboca, eggplant rotolo, calamares ajillo, and plantanos en pinchos). The waitress was very helpful in our decision of how much to order.... More

What is there not to love about endless mimosas? After spending a lot of time researching local brunch options for a group of 4, we decided to try Tango. At $18 it's a huge bargain for the decor, service and quality. While the options are not huge, everything offered was appealing. Fresh fruit and a huge mixed green salad were... More

First time visit. Came on a Sunday where they also host a champagne brunch. The brunch didnt seem to have many tapas offerings - they did have made to order omelettes and fresh fruit. We began our meal with plantain wrapped with bacon - that was delicious and had us excited for our next upcoming order items. The beef empanada... More
