Loud but great food

I've been there many times because I live so close. Great food, a little cramped for space, but loud. Not the place for a quiet, intimate conversation. I always get the half roasted chicken and my wife gets the salmon. Awesome!

Living in Arizona can be challenging for food choices if you lived in Illinois for a long time. This restaurant had great atmosphere and food. It was so good to be back in Illinois and get pasta made from scratch ( maybe it wasn't but I really liked it). About 12 of us for high school graduation party. The place... More

Naperville, with it.s outdoor restaurants and vibe on a Saturday afternoon and evening is unique , This Italian restaurant has its own character. It's in a 2 storied building, with tables close to each other, and can get noisy due to the acoustics. The food, though, makes it worth it. The Pollo Arrosto alla Romana is the best of the... More

I have dined here many times and I have never been disappointed. The food and service are always top notch. Tonight we had a bottle of wine Santa Julia Malbac and the special appatizer rosotto with scallops tomatoes was outstanding. The minestrone was very fresh and plenty of juice to soak up with the warm Italian bread. We ordered the... More

Great downtown Naperville location. I would say some of the best Italian food in the Chicagoland area. Service is good, atmosphere is nice, small, but enough space between tables. The menu changes daily, but they have similar meals. I love their rigatoni with sausage. You really can't go wrong with any dish you order. Of course the bread with Olive... More

We had a great culinary experience here. Had the fish, which was perfectly grilled and very tasty with the capers and sauce. My better half had a pasta dish, which he says is one of the best he has had since our trip to Italy last year - and that's saying a lot since we live in the Bay Area... More

We were walking back from Naperville Running Company, looking for a nice place for dinner when we stumbled on this place. For starters, it's loud. All hard walls and ceilings, the sound echos, and everyone is competing to get a word (LOUDLY) in edgewise. The food is very, very good. We started with their Carpaccio Carciofi, which was a very... Wonderful vibe! We've been to La Sorella several times and always found the ambiance to be very lively and energetic. While the noise level can be a bit high at times, holding a normal conversation isn't a challenge. On this particular visit, we didn't find the food to be quite as good as normal but still had an enjoyable time... More
