Spent a recent Saturday evening at La Sorella di Francesca's in downtown Naperville. My wife and I were attending a party for a relative, so we were a part of a large party which I usually dread being close to in any restaurant. Ive been to many of the Francesca's restaurants in the area, but I can't remember one as... More

Food was excellently prepared. Gluten free pasta was excellent. Couldn't tell it was gluten free! Husband had the pasta with mussels and was shocked with how many mussels were in the dish. Friend had the sorbet -- nice size portion - very flavorful and refreshing. Can't wait to go back.

Been here many times. Only small complaint is that it can be a bit loud. Besides that, food is great, and love the lighting, music, bar, ... Great for a date with plenty of places to walk to for dessert.

High quality food. The menu is printed on loose, disposable paper and dining options seem to change daily. They have unique Italian pizza, pasta, and meat dishes. It is slightly upscale. The dining room is set in a historic building with a large window facing Jefferson St. Service is consistently good. Not a very large restaurant, so reservations encouraged during... More

We are new to Naperville, and have been trying to find a good Italian restaurant. We love Rosebud, but wanted to step outside the box. I made a reservation earlier in the day... We were seated promptly upon arrival. Menu is small, but we knew that going into it. Service was decent. Both mine and my husbands entrees were served... More

I took my wife here to celebrate a professional accomplishment. The restaurant was packed, but they still seated us at our reserved time. The bread was excellent, which is always a good start. Our entrees were served very fast, and they were excellent and with generous portions. Dessert was less than ideal, but with a meal that good, it didn't... More

I had the Pollo alla Napolitana. My wife had ravioli with spinach. We both enjoyed our choices. However, this is not a place for a nice romantic dinner. It tends to get really noisy.

If you want a fancy place for dinner - go somewhere else. If you want a great meal with great service - go here! We started off with sautéed spinach that was fresh and just sautéed enough to wilt it. Next was a salad of green beans, tomato, and onion in a light vinaigrette. Again fresh with great flavor. Main... More

Pretty good Italian food. Nothing fancy. Old reliable recipes, done well. Good for groups. Forget the romance, too noisy. Often a wait. n
