Hubby and I wanted to try a new restaurant and was told about this place through a friend and although I drive by this place quite often I never gave it a second look, especially not fully understanding what fondue was. They have a great couples portion which includes appetizer, 2 meal entree, and dessert. We started out with a... More

I had been there a few times before and honestly I wasn't impressed. This time though was much better. We had a groupon which helped with the cost. Even with the groupon it cost almost 100 dollars (50 for the groupon plus drinks tax and tip). The service was great and the food was much better. I do still think... More

It is a little pricey for me, but they do have weekday specials that can make it more affordable. The full course is the way to really enjoy the place with a nice bottle of wine. The cheese starter is great and I enjoyed the seafood the most for main dish. The atmosphere is quite and romantic. Service is great.

Pros: You get to eat. Cons: Everything else. First of all, my Livingsocial app wasn't working for some reason (WTH??!!) which made me semi-frantic come bill time, but luckily I had saved my confirmation email for this place or it would have cost me a FORTUNE!! That being said, I will NOT be returning to this restaurant! I LOVE fondue... More

We were excited to find a Melting Pot in our neighborhood, usually love them! What a huge disappointment, even at a groupon discount price! It took 15 minutes between courses! What should have been an enjoyable meal turned into a 2 1/2 nightmare! Food was decent..but not worth the wait!!

We dined at the Naperville, IL Melting Pot on June 15, 2013 for my daughter's 20th birthday. We weren't sure what to expect as we had seen mixed reviews. Everything at this restaurant was perfect from start to finish. My brother in law is a server's worst nightmare and he had nothing but praise for our evening. We had a... More

I took my wife to The Melting Pot for her birthday and it was excellent in every way. They had a vase with a single rose in it at our table. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful as this was our first time there. The food was excellent, the service outstanding and the atmosphere was very romantic. If... More

My wife has wanted to go to the Melting Pot for two plus years. She has heard good things about it from coworkers. We don't live close to one, so we had to make a special trip to go. We ordered their four course special. Course one, cheese fondue, the waiter put to much garlic into the mixture. It was so... More

We have been to other Melting Pot restaurants in the Chicago area prior to this experience and found them a nice quiet romantic place to dine. If that is what you are looking for this particular Melting Pot is not the place to go. We wanted to make this birthday really special for our son who was on Active Duty... More

A few months ago, my husband and I were in the Naperville area shopping and tried to stop by The Melting Pot for an early dinner (around 4:30). Sadly, we were unable to get seated without a reservation. After a few months, I talked my husband into trying again, but making a reservation ahead of time. I am so glad... More
