New Name, Same Location, Wonderful New Menu

We were sad to see Cafe Buonaro's close after so many years knowing we would miss many of our favorite dishes enjoyed with family and friends. So we were thrilled when another branch of the family decided to re-open in the same location under the name Bella Familia. And we were not disappointed... read more

The new name is Bella Familia (Beautiful Family). Any American Italian restaurant that knows how to cook pasta al dente (most don't), has genuine imported Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, has genuine Aceto Balsmico di Modena is the real deal. Food and service is very good.

This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever eaten at! Not only is the food terrible, but the prices are out of control. Believe it or not, I have been here multiple times (yes, I know I'm nuts) because of the convenient location. The chicken marley dish is ungodly horrible, swimming in grease. I can't say enough bad... More

We have heard such good things from this family restaurant so we finally stopped in when in the area. We assumed they made fresh pasta....the waitress told us all the food comes in frozen....and it tasted like it too. When we arrive we were the only guests there...all the waiters were sitting together at a table having their dinner....we bothered... More

We love this place! The food is good to great, the service is good and the owner is always there and concerned about giving you the best of service and food. The place is old school Taylor Street like in the city. This includes the chalkboard menus! When not during peak diner hours on weekends it is a good place... More

Very nice restaurant, great food, small interior, but very comfortable. Location is just off of downtown Naperville, near the 5th Ave. train station. Good homemade bread & italian food, also nice salads and lunch items!

This is a wonderful Italian restaurant! They start you out with warm homemade Italian bread served in a basket. The salad is served in a big bowl which they will refill on request and is very good. I ordered the clams with a garlic sauce pasta. There was about 15-20 clams in the shell on top of my pasta!!!! So... More

This is old school Italian which I really like having grown up with this type of food. My lady and I both had the mussels and they were delicious. They serve the salad family style and it was a little heavy on the dressing, like an Olive Garden. The bread was good, they had olive oil on the table which... More
