I never thought a sandwich could be so good. My mouth is watering just thinking of what I had: pastrami and corned beef on marble rye (aka the Adams)! Absolutely delicious and without a doubt the freshest rye bread I've ever had. Whether you live here or are visiting, you must stop by for lunch. Not much else to say!

This is BY FAR the best local deli I have EVER eaten in! I get the sloppy Paul each time, which is actually a Rueben type sandwich. THe pickles are just as delicious as you would expect from a deli. Friendly people, great food, a can't miss in the area!

We picked here to eat because it was rated on Tripadvisor as #5 of places to eat in Naperville. The selections to choose from are fantastic, they really do have something for everyone. My husband was jumping for joy because they had lox, he loves it. I had the french dip and it was tasty. The bagel chips are amazing... More

Stopped in on a whim. I love corned beef and this was some of the best I have ever had. The sandwiches are huge!! You can share one. Everything was made to order, and the bagel chips are a nice change from regular potato chips. They have everything a great deli needs to have, menu wise. Staff is very friendly,... More

Amazing that you can get such great corned beef and pastrami in my hometown. I always go for the combo-equal amounts of both in a huge sandwich needing 2 hands. Their bagel chips are absolutely addicting-I buy a big for home where I use them to dip hummus. A match made in food heaven.

In the area on business and found this gem via the TA app. OK, I love Jewish delis, so I was a fan before I even got there. That being said, I loved this place! The sandwich was great and huge and the help in classic deli fashion, shout the orders out down the line and talk constantly. Buy the... More

The environment of the deli is always a joy to be in! The lunch rush definitely defines how good this place's food actually is. I got the #4 under the turkey sandwiches. The sandwich is delicious, ( along with all of the rest on the menu) but the best part of the meal? The bagel chips! If you are going... More

This was my first time to Schmatz Deli, and since I was in a moving line without enough time to fully digest the menu, I ordered what my brother recommended. It was a Nohemis Hero, essentially a turkey sandwich with guacamole and pastrami bacon. (I skipped the cheese and onions.) It was very good. And it came with a large... More

Now Sheldon's in Palm Springs. That is a Jewish deli. Not here. More like a subway with a more Jewish menu. Cases displaying food are pitiful. Really not displaying. No borscht. A classic. Just did take out of 2 kinds of soup and the chicken noodle had very little chicken or almost no carrots. The overall broth was ok. No,... More

Good place for meeting for lunch if you are not in a rush. Standard NY deli menu, friendly help and lots of seating. Wed. a friend and I had the popular Reuben sandwich,( good but next time I will ask for half stuffed) that came with a pickle and crunchy good bagel chips sprinkled with cheese; and the matzo soup...
