By far the best sandwich I've ever had

I've never been to a Jewish Deli before, and the gal at the counter didn't make me feel even remotely like an idiot for that. They actually offered me samples of pastrami and corned beef, I ended up getting a pastrami sandwich on marbled rye bread with cheese. It was ready to go quickly and the... read more

The food was terrible and expensive! Corned beef tasted like lunch meat from a grocery store not freshly made, They don't know how to make liver pate', it was bland and pasty. The potato pancakes were nothing more than fried mashed potatoes. You make latkes' by grating fresh potatoes and onion, no short cuts! I make liver pate' which is... More

If you have a craving for some down-home like, Brooklyn deli food, this is as close as it gets out here in the Illinois boonies.

This was actually a second choice for breakfast when we bumped into a waiting line elsewhere. A bit of a throwback theme with old multicolored linoleum tiles on the floor, posters, maybe 200 photos on yellow and red walls and great sixties music (maybe some early seventies thrown in). The food is fantastic and the staff has the greatest attitude... More

Found this gem of a sandwich spot on return trip from Indiana. Excellent pastrami, corned beef and other very tasty sandwiches. The meat is piled high with all the extras. Many ethnic choices in the food case. Clean, pleasant atmosphere but mostly just great food.

Who knew there was a national brisket day! I had an overstuffed brisket sandwich - the bread, the brisket and the sauce was wonderful. And the pickle was crisp - and huge. The bagel chips (bagel sized) were delicious. I loved the energy at the order counter and down the line. The next time I go back to Naperville this... More

Try the Brooklyn Beef Brisket with the horseradish sauce, you will not be disappointed! Their desserts are pretty good as well!
