Innovative menu

Was introduced to this restaurant through Chef Geoff Rhyne. Have to admit, we were crushed when he left. Haven't dined here as much as we used to when he was still the chef. The main restaurant at Hotel Arista. Breakfast comes with many tasty choices. Service is great and the atmosphere is nice.

While on business in Naperville, we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. The menu looked interesting, and we really didn't want to get back in our rental cars and explore the area. Unfortunately, they were short-handed that evening. The bartender was having to act as the waiter/server, and also as the food runner. So the delays in getting... More

I do not like the Sugar Toad for dinner. The food is weird and not normal for a business hotel. Too expensive. And the service in that I mean the time it takes to get your food is just out of bounds. I would not recommend this place for dinner. Which is bad because I love the hotel. Need a... More

Stopped for a late lunch between lunch and dinner. The all day dining menu didn't appeal to us so we had a drink and went to the CityGate Grille instead. The restaurant is gorgeous, clean, and quiet. We stayed at Hotel Arista for four nights and SugarToad always appeared to be providing relaxed meal service along with chic contemporary ambiance.

Thankfully a restaurant that doesn't force you to wade through an unwanted buffet gluttony on Mother's Day! Excellent breakfast selection with some unexpected surprises... eggs benedict with crab, duck confit, etc. All of our meals were cooked to order and served very quickly. The blood orange mimosa to begin was excellent. Lots of special attention to organic, local sourcing, and... More

My husband and I had brunch here while staying at the hotel. Breakfast for the 2 of us was $42...before the tip. The food was good and the service was fine. There were only 3 other tables occupied when we were there so the server was attentive and friendly. Not really worth the money though.

I have eaten here on many occasions. In my experience it has always been very quiet. The food is good and service attentive. It's a bit pricy but probably worth it.
