This place has been in business, under various ownership, since the late 1940's, if I am correct. In the '60's and early '70's, it was Kruse;s Tavern. As Mrs. P and Me, it retains some of the old character of a neighborhood tavern. Decent food, decent drinks, ok for a solo, date night, or family dinner. Not too expensive and... More

I lived nearby for three years and never ate there. Customers have no respect for the residents directly off the patio and parking area. They use my driveway as overflow parking and public restroom after dark. They are excessively loud and disrespectful. Management and staff are no better as they don't properly deal with these issues. They just brush it... More

Went there on Aug 23rd. Service extremely slow. Our server was Denise. Not very good at her job. Got there at 6:10. Didn't see our server until 6:35. Ordered our food and received it at 7:10. Never saw her. Manager came by and took another drink order. We were getting ready to leave until he showed up. Food was cold... More

This restaurant is in and old house and is ver cramped. Food was ok, but not something I would go out of my way to get again

Many years ago this restaurant was owned by a former Lettuce Entertain You employee. Everything about the place was great. Atmosphere, food and service. Time moves on and so do owners. The first mistake the new owners made is removing the wall between the bar area and the restaurant. The lights are turned up so bright in the dining room... More

Food is good, they offer some healthy choices. Prices are reasonable. Service is good. Close to the train in town.

We have been going there for several years for their all you can eat Fish Fry (about $8). Although the way they make it has changed over time, they have kept the "made on premises" touch and have maintained a very high level of quality. In other words they do not use frozen breaded fillets like many other places. The... More

Charming piece of history in downtown Mt. Prospect, very convenient for Metra riders and locals. Great bar food and cheery servers. Indoors and out during the warm months. A must try.

have been here many times for dinner and have always been happy. lunch isn't that good. Chile is very bland but if you like beans you willl be happy. You will get a bowl full. Don't know why they ask you how you would like you burger cooked. asked for medium, got well done. Instead of cole slaw, you get... More

We have gone to Mrs. P and me several times and almost always one of us gets the ribs. They just know how to cook them and they come out fantastic. The sauce is so good too (ask for extra). They give you a choice of potato but we recommend the steak fries. They have great hamburgers too. With full... More
