One of the best Pizza establishments you can eat at in the North suburbs. Pizza is made with a thick layer of sauce and caramelized meat and onions. Very tasty and flavorful, unique recipe.

Everything was great! Service was excellent and pizza and salad was delicious. Beer was cold and a very nice selection. The place is small, but we were able to get a table right away on a week night, even though we arrive at about 6:30. The crust on the pizza is the best. They told us it would be forty... More

My family and I enjoy the thin crust pizza here. When we are really hungry, we get the pan pizza. Can't beat the caramelized crust and fresh toppings. We like to get sausage, mushrooms and pepperoni. We enjoy the bruschetta and also the fries. I think they use celery salt on them, makes them pretty tasty. Atmosphere is kitschy.

This place gets written up a lot. I visited for the first time. If you're a visitor to Chicago, there's no way I'd make a trek all the way out here. To be fair, everyone in my group wanted thin crust so maybe the deep dish with the burnt cheese crust would be better. The thin crust pizza was OK... More

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I met here for a wonderful lunch. My son had a friend's recommendation about Pequod's delicious pan pizza. We were not disappointed! The restaurant has an older, neighborhood "feel" which we liked; good, friendly service; and great pizza. We're anxious to try the Chicago location too.

This was my first experience with deep dish, which I don't prefer, so I can't say how good the food is. Local friends say it is the best though. The service was good. It is a very small, old building, and when it filled up it was very warm in there.

Good pizza but when talking about Pizza places in Chicago, Pequod's, in my opinion does not belong in the same conversation as Giordano's, Lou Malnatis, or Geno's. Everyone has different tastes but to me, the crust was very bready (if there is such a word). This might have been because our pie was very light on cheese and sauce. Worth... More

Had Pequods for the first time in about 20 years the other night at a family party and was not impressed. Definitely not as good as i remember many years ago. I enjoy pan pizza, but this seemed too doughy. The sauce was not as flavorful as i remembered, and there definitely was not enough sausage. It was ok overall,... More
