Always a joy.

I personally love the place but when noisy college students are yelling at a television during a game, but what you going to do? The food is awesome and the service is great. I'm always pleased overall.

The bar was awesome, with real European beers, pints and even Das Boot. We had a litre of brew for 9 bucks- you can't beat that. I wish we'd had eaten there instead of down the block. The place was packed, and I see why.

I had been here years ago and thought it was average but last night was much better for service and food. We had hot pretzels with cheese sauce, they were so light and good. My grandson liked them so much he had no room for dinner. We also tried the reuben rolls which were like reubens in a an eggroll.... More

We had a great German lunch just a few blocks from the hotel. I would recommend this spot for an authentic German meal. We had lunch, but the selection and quality was outstanding, so I would guess dinner is also very good. BTW: the German potato salad is a very good choice for one of the sides.

My fourth and final visit. The atmosphere is good. The service is very good. The food is inconsistent at best and this last time.... I will say the homemade sauerkraut is tasty but the sauerbraten was the worst food I have EVER had in a restaurant. The texture was dry and it turned to sawdust in your mouth, and the... More

Recently traveling to Germany so this was a great find. Food and beers are great we took our 5 year old son with us and he loved all the animal mounts on the wall and the staff treated him great. Outside of Nuremburg that place has the best Schnitzel.

Food isn't consistent so it must be the cook. I enjoy the leberkase and other german dishes but they cooks should be taught how thick to slice the leberkase, etc. Lots of beer options. I like the location in LeClaire, IA the best

If you like a little GERMAN...this is it! The schnitzel is fabulous! The bier selection is also good. I've not been in town for the entertainment on the weekends but am told it is good.

This place has a very friendly staff and eager to please. Food was great and decent price. The food and employees make this place one you want to return to.

This is my third trip here for lunch. I really enjoy the decor. I am not a beer drinker so no review on that part. Staff was great. I have lived in Europe and the food here always disappoints. Today I ordered potato pancakes. I asked what they were made of, to which I received a response of potatoes which... More
