We had a great German lunch just a few blocks from the hotel. I would recommend this spot for an authentic German meal. We had lunch, but the selection and quality was outstanding, so I would guess dinner is also very good. BTW: the German potato salad is a very good choice for one of the sides.

My fourth and final visit. The atmosphere is good. The service is very good. The food is inconsistent at best and this last time.... I will say the homemade sauerkraut is tasty but the sauerbraten was the worst food I have EVER had in a restaurant. The texture was dry and it turned to sawdust in your mouth, and the... More

Recently traveling to Germany so this was a great find. Food and beers are great we took our 5 year old son with us and he loved all the animal mounts on the wall and the staff treated him great. Outside of Nuremburg that place has the best Schnitzel.

Food isn't consistent so it must be the cook. I enjoy the leberkase and other german dishes but they cooks should be taught how thick to slice the leberkase, etc. Lots of beer options. I like the location in LeClaire, IA the best

If you like a little GERMAN...this is it! The schnitzel is fabulous! The bier selection is also good. I've not been in town for the entertainment on the weekends but am told it is good.

This is my third trip here for lunch. I really enjoy the decor. I am not a beer drinker so no review on that part. Staff was great. I have lived in Europe and the food here always disappoints. Today I ordered potato pancakes. I asked what they were made of, to which I received a response of potatoes which... More

Heavy metal music sports bar that happens to serve really good German food. A couple of big parties here tonight and the waitstaff was handling them just fine. I sat at the bar since no host/hostess - they were efficient. You can tell this is a place to come after work and hang out - similar to a pub feel.

This place deserves the accolade-- AUTHENTIC. The ambiance is definitely a Bier Stube, a cozy little place to enjoy a meal, your friends, and plenty of good Bier. We ordered the sausage platter which was generous as it was delicious. The owners make the sausages themselves and the quality is outstanding. The sauerkraut is also authentic, nothing just dumped out... More
