This place is like stepping into Germany during Oktoberfest! Great food, great selection of beers, and I love the atmosphere.

have visited a couple of times but always the same problem...service. It that great. Waited and allowed for additional service time before attending concert at local I Wireless but they never seem ready and honestly don't seem that bothered either. Saw people at three different tables walk out. Shame..food supposed to be good but wouldn't know for sure, only got... More

We just walked into this restaurant bar without knowing anything about it. As soon as you pass the door you know you are close to “Germany”. On Saturday they do not run their quick lunch menu as they do their full menu and it was good – the weineschinitzel (veal) and the fried cat fish were both nice and the... More

Atmosphere very German; loved the outside in particular, and the waitress was very good. Lots of beers to choose from.

The Bier Stube is one of our favorite places to go in the Quad Cities. They have a great variety of beers on tap (I think around 30-35 or so) and plenty of other bottles and cocktails. We have always had great food and service. Their Thursday trivia nights and events such as Oktoberfest are a lot of fun too!... More

Bier Stube was fun! I stopped in for lunch. There's a great beer selection- particularly the German and Austrian varieties. A huntsman's lodge vibe is given off by the deer, elk, and antelope mounts on the walls. I had a friendly bartender. The menu had traditional Bavarian fare, including 5 or 6 varieties of wurstel (a/k/a/ sausages). The food came... More

Gotta try a boot of beer !! Das Boot is a fun way to share a few beers. This fun place is German, plays German music and offers a german style menu with good food and service. Very unique.

Very good bar with live music, 100's of beers and a german menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Stopped by most days on stay and would happily recommend a visit

However, this is about the only option for German cuisine. The beer selection is pretty good, the food is hit and miss. I think it depends on who is cooking that day. Sometimes it is very salty.

Except the original German beer this "beer stube" is not a real German food restaurant. Who will get Schnitzel with mushroom souce in Austria? Or who will take cheese as a side order? Well - I was not satisfied with the meal - sorry. Wäh!
